Wearing Myself Art 84-2844269 | Government Grant Application

Wearing Myself Art | Application Preview

Wearing Myself Art is seeking government grants to enhance its operations and ensure the safety of live music and entertainment events. The funding will be allocated for various purposes, including purchasing high-quality sound equipment, protective cases for lighting and speakers, trusses for mounting lights, restocking wearable art materials, and soundproofing a vocal recording room with upgraded microphones.

The business plans to expand nationally by offering comprehensive event packages that include setup and teardown of equipment while ensuring security through the employment of veterans. This approach addresses the growing concerns around safety at live events. The strategy involves a fixed contract price that covers all services, thus appealing to customers who prefer a streamlined process without the hassle of hiring separate contractors.

The funding request emphasizes the unique commitment to safety, highlighting the vigilant nature of veteran personnel. This initiative is expected to build public confidence for future events and facilitate rapid growth into other major cities. The application notes that the niche market lacks competition, as most personnel are hired on a contract basis, making this all-in-one service model particularly attractive.

Overall, the business aims to leverage its military-trained workforce to create a safer and more efficient event experience, while also supporting veterans through employment and community engagement.

  • Business Plan

I expect to grow this business exponentially through national expansion. Live music and entertainment is becoming more dangerous and immediate change is necessary to ensure safety for everyone in attendance. By combining all facets of current business operations and offering a package deal to customers, I will utilize all aspects of my business in one location at a time. I will hire Veterans only, would rely on Wounded Warrior Programs and other veteran-related entities to advertise. One contract price per event will include: setup and tear-down of ALL equipment as well as security provided by vigilant veterans before, during, and after each event. The merchandise, recordings, and any other memorabilia will be sold. Safety and security unlike any other is a guarantee. Veterans are vigilant and their presence is evident. This is necessary to establish and maintain confidence of the general public for future events. Expansion will be rapid and far-reaching to other major cities. The low up-front cost can be quickly recouped at the same time live events are made safer by employing our nations protectors.

  • Self Identified Competition

There is no competition because personnel are usually hired as contract workers for each live event. Some venues employ their own event coordinators who contract work for setup and tear-down of props for the event. One contracted price includes everything needed for a successful event without the need to hire personnel, train them, and still assume responsibility for accidents. My employees are military-trained, nationwide, and are ready to work.
