Tha Potion Graphics LLC | Application Preview

Tha Potion Graphics LLC is seeking government grants to enhance their business operations, focusing on transitioning from vinyl to embroidery to provide more durable products. The funding will be used for new equipment, a down payment on a physical store, and to upgrade the overall business plan. As a recently medically retired US Marine, the owner aims to establish a veteran-owned brand with a strong focus on personalization and quality.

The business plan highlights the intention to invest in embroidery, allowing the brand to stand out distinctly in the market. The owner plans to create a dedicated studio for showcasing designs and moving operations out of their garage. Trademarking and copyrighting the brand is also a priority to protect against imitation.

The owner presents a compelling case for funding approval, emphasizing thorough research and understanding of their target market. Drawing from experience as a Marine recruiter in diverse areas, they aim to connect emotionally with customers, believing this will enhance sales and foster long-term relationships.

Competition exists from brands like Dapper Dopeness and Mad City, which occasionally imitate the owner's work. However, Tha Potion Graphics sets itself apart by offering 100% unique and custom products tailored to individual customers. The motto “Too Original To Be A Copy” encapsulates their commitment to distinctiveness and creativity.

I plan investing into embroidery to have my brand stand out more so I’ll be upgrading from vinyl. I will also like to gain a studio to take pictures and graphics and move my business out of my garage. I plan on presenting my personal brand once I get everything trademarked and copyrighted so avoid others stealing my ideas. I know I’m a sure thing. I’ve done my research, looked at the odds, the market, and have a set audience. People don’t buy what you do they buy why you do it. I was a US Marine recruiter for four years in Oakland and San Francisco California so I’ve been in the most diverse areas in America. So by showing people why I love designing and creating I can get them to buy my tapping into their emotions. People buy off emotions or impulse and I have the necessary skills to do that but also give them a product they can feel proud of and comfortable to share with friend and become a lifelong client.

  • Self Identified Competition

Dapper Dopeness: custom apparel company by my military fraternity founder who caters to all but mostly fraternities and sororities and has great work but sometimes copies my work with vinyl and just uses his embroidery machine and steals my clients. Mad City: the gentleman creates custom paddles, wood work, and custom apparel and he sometimes mimics my online post and gain my clients. My work is 100% unique and custom tailored to the individual purchasing it. If you can think it I can create it. By keep my work original no one can copy it. Well can’t copy to much. My motto is “Too Original To Be A Copy”
