Miah & Elliott llc Miah & Elliott llc | Government Grant Application

Miah & Elliott llc | Application Preview

Miah & Elliott LLC is seeking government grants to enhance their business operations. The funding will be used for several key purposes, including hiring a firm for a professional website redesign, purchasing inventory and supplies, acquiring apparel printing equipment for in-house print on demand services, and leasing a small office space for storage and daily operations.

The company's business plan focuses on sourcing higher-quality products in larger quantities to reduce prices and improve customer reputation. They aim to establish a brick-and-mortar store in San Tan Valley to serve the underrepresented communities in the area, as current options are limited and often marked by high prices at big box retailers.

Miah & Elliott believe that their commitment to hard work, driven by a Marine Corps veteran's determination, positions them uniquely to succeed. They've lived in the San Tan Valley area for over a decade and have witnessed the community's limited options for affordable apparel. Their goal is to provide stylish, affordable clothing, addressing the needs of local families who currently rely on thrift stores or have to travel far for clothing.

The business faces competition from local entities such as Redeemed Threads, Slay & Shine, and The One Stop Shop. However, Miah & Elliott plans to differentiate themselves by combining popular styles with proactive community engagement and marketing. This approach will help them stay attuned to local trends and better meet customer demands.

Sourcing better products in larger quantities in order to offer lower prices for our customers to help grow our customer reputation. We would also like to open a brick and mortar location in the San Tan Valley area to provide our services to the under served surrounding communities of the area. I believe in the phrase "hard work pays off" and being a Marine Corps veteran I don't know how to give up. I am my family have lived in the San Tan Valley / Florence area for the last 10+ years and one thing we have noticed is how under served the surrounding ares are. The main source for apparel needs in the area is big box stores that often carry clothing that can be expensive for some families in the area leaving them to shop thrift stores. Not to mention those large stores are not within range for many of the outlying communities. We plan to fix this issue, by bringing the latest styles for all types of personalities all while maintaining affordability for everyone without sacrificing quality.
