Sacred branch | Application Preview
The Sacred branch is applying for government grants to help recover from pandemic-related challenges and expand the business. The funds will be used to pay off bills and bring on a new employee to support growth.
With 26 years of experience as a massage therapist and a diverse work history, the owner seeks to diversify the client base and enhance service offerings. The business has reached a pricing limit, making it difficult to cover expenses such as rent.
The competition includes established players like Mario Tricoci Day Spa and Salon. However, Sacred branch stands out due to the owner's advanced qualifications, including a master's degree in Oriental medicine, a bachelor's in nutrition, and a degree in acupuncture. The unique approach involves addressing individual client needs through various techniques, such as cupping, CBD therapy, medical massage, and acupressure, especially for issues like scoliosis.
Overall, the requested funding aims to stabilize and grow the business, ensuring its sustainability and continued service to the community.

Business Plan
I want to take on new clients and train another employee to take on business. I have been A massage therapist for 26 years, and I have worked for many different companies. I can no longer go up on prices so the next step is to expand with employees. I have dedicated my life to my business and with the pandemic I am unable to catch back up and expand for the future. I have been working since I was 14 years old started babysitting and then worked in every part of the grocery store. My senior year in high school I started taking massage classes on the weekends. I graduated from massage school and started working a week after. The prices for massage are capped because you can easily outprice yourself in this market. I am at the top of my pay and still cannot make it with rent and other expenses to run a business.
