Evolution Custom Trailers llc 88-2090013 | Government Grant Application

Evolution Custom Trailers llc | Application Preview

Evolution Custom Trailers LLC is seeking government grants to purchase materials and parts necessary for the production of custom trailers. With the business already established in a suitable location and equipped with a master welder and the required equipment, the owner is set up for immediate operations.

The business plan includes partnerships with several boat manufacturers that have expressed strong interest in collaborating on trailer production. These contracts are expected to sustain the business with a steady workload for the next five to seven years. Additionally, the company aims to provide skill development opportunities for local youth, promoting workforce growth in the area.

The justification for grant approval emphasizes readiness and efficiency. The owner has a firm understanding of market demand, and an initial order is available for negotiation, indicating a strong start.

In terms of competition, the main rival in Utah, Metal Craft, is experiencing dissatisfaction from clients regarding shipping distances, while Extreme Trailers in California is fully booked for the next two years and reportedly lacks the quality offered by Evolution. Triton Trailers in Wisconsin faces similar logistics challenges, and the company’s welders can accommodate a broader range of trailer designs compared to competitors.

Evolution Custom Trailers LLC's competitive advantages lie in its local presence, superior product quality, versatility in trailer construction, and existing sales opportunities, positioning the business for success in the marketplace.

  • Business Plan

I have been meeting with a few boat manufacturers and they are very interested in working with me and give me the opportunity to build their trailers. With these contracts we should be busy for the next 5-7 years. I do have the building, equipments, professional welder with 10 years experience. We will be able to provide opportunities for younger generations in the area to learn a new skill as well. I have everything ready and will not be wasting time. I have started this business with the full knowledge of the demand for my product. I have the first order on the table ready for negotiation.

  • Self Identified Competition

    1) Metal Craft in utah. Couple of my potential clients are using this company for now but they are not happy because of the distance. They are more interested in having a company build their trailers that is local and they can cut the transportation fee. 2) Extreme Trailers in California. This company is booked for the next 2 years and according to my clients the quality and workmanship of their products doesn't even come close to mine. 3) Triton Trailers in Wisconsin. Again the transportation and distance is a major issue, and my welders are capable of building all kinds of trailers versus 1 or 2 type. I am local, quality of my product is better, we are capable of building different type of trailers that my competition is not capable, I have companies ready to give me their first order which is about 20 trailers to start.
