We are looking to expand into other dog and pet centered services such as Pet Photography, Dog Daycare, and Dog Boarding. Within the next year, we would also like to high a bather and 1, if possible 2, groomers to train. BY 5 years time we would like to open a second location with the same services as this location, just in a more high traffic location. We are worth the investment as dog groomers are in short supply as it is a difficult industry to break into. We would like to partner with the schools in our area to train high schools or college students to open this profession more. We also service an area that only has 1 other dog groomer, however that business is not and does not plan on taking new clients for the foreseeable future. Our clients range from people down the street to those who drive over 2 hours away just to come to our salon. Many people trust their pets, most who are considered part of their family, with us and our groomers.

Our top 3 competitors are Pet Smart, Paw Day Grooming, and Transfurmations. Pet Smart is a multi-billion dollar company that is known to turn away pets and their owners, treat pets poorly, and is predatory in their training of new groomers. Paw Day Grooming is a smaller shop located near us that is run in her house. We have had many people come to us after a visit from her shop due to the dirtiness of her location and disliking the cut done on their dog. Transfurmations is actually a shop we recommend if we are unable to service an animal, we do not groom or bath cats, however they have very little social media presence and do not hire to train. Our owner, a groomer, has rarely turned away a pet. He works with the owner to set them on a schedule to get them comfortable and feeling safe during the groom while also making sure the customer can get the cut they requested. We have a pet a week that is unable to be groomed on anyone else due to how much care our owner puts into his grooms. He wants to be able to help more people get into this beautiful and artful career to make sure that more people have groomers they trust and more pets have a safe time at the salon. We have a dedicated social media presence, a clean and bright salon, and the experience to make it all worthwhile.
