Funding Usage
Despite the positive feedback and reviews we have received for our books, it has been a challenge to reach a larger audience and increase sales. That is why we are seeking a $20,000 grant to be used primarily for marketing efforts to promote our books through Amazon ads and other social media platforms. With the grant, we plan to allocate at least half of the funds towards our most successful books to push them higher in Amazon's ranks and increase their visibility to potential customers. This will ultimately lead to higher sales and allow us to spend less on advertisements for these books in the long run. The remaining funds will be used to promote our children's books and journals through their own separate ad campaigns. In addition to promoting our books, the grant will also help us to cover our monthly expenses and allow us to hire freelancers when needed to keep up with our workflow while we focus on marketing efforts. We are confident that these efforts will lead to a significant increase in sales and help us to reach a wider audience, allowing us to continue to create and share our passion for books with the world.

I have recently completed a landing page for the company that showcases my bestsellers and new releases, and will help drive more traffic to the site. I have also spent a considerable amount of time building a strong social media presence on platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, TikTok, and Youtube. In the next 5 years, I plan to continue to run advertising campaigns and expand my inventory to increase visibility and sales. I also plan to incorporate influencer marketing into my strategy, and to expand the types of books I publish. I am currently working on my first children's story book, with the aim of publishing more in the future. Lastly, I plan to get copies of my books in local bookstores to reach even more readers. As the owner and sole operator of Fortunate Prints, I have demonstrated a strong work ethic and a commitment to innovation in the self-publishing industry. I have created and marketed 75 different books within the last 5 months, ranging from journals and logic puzzles to drawing pads and activity books for both kids and adults. I am also in the process of producing my first children's storybook, which aims to help children overcome their fear of the dark. Beyond my dedication to creating quality products, I also prioritize the needs and wants of my customers. This is evident in the creation of Vastly Useful, an online store that primarily operates on Etsy and sells digital art, uniquely designed accessories, and other digital downloads. My biggest competitor is myself because I want to do better every single day, and in this business knowing what my competitors are successful at is important but knowing myself and what I have to offer is priceless because that is what makes me unique, and that will be why I stand out. I stand out from my competitors for a variety of reasons. Firstly, my dedication to creating high-quality, entertaining and educational products for both children and adults is evident in the wide range of books and journals I have produced. My focus on journals and logic puzzle books, along with my commitment to developing children's story books that address important life lessons, sets me apart from other self-publishing companies. Additionally, my hardworking and innovative approach to building a successful business is evident in my efforts to establish a strong online presence through social media and the recently created landing page.
