  • Funding Usage

This would be in the best-case scenario and would most likely be less. Updating current shops tools for better production, finishes and timely supply to customers.

  • Business Plan

By upgrading the current equipment, I would be able to be more productive and cost savings to customers. I intend to grow with the people returning to work, making commercial offices more accommodating to Hybrid workers. They would also co-inside, making home offices more accommodating for conference calls and virtual/ professional working environments. I started working at 13, doing millwork and cabinetry installs with my father. I have been providing my customers with the best customer service and respect that a customer would appreciate. I would be able to provide a quick response for customers compared to what they are receiving from mid-size/large companies now, with them having lead times while they wait for products overseas.

  • Self Identified Competition

My competitors aren't able to give back to their communities as they are in the business districts paying more rent, insurance, and much more inflated overhead, keeping more for themselves and less for employees. I would rather build the business to last and help local communities and include cities. I have a customer that orders office furniture constantly from office designers who purchase through fabricators over 400 miles away from Maryland and Washington, DC. I offered in the past to save schools money by reworking something that isn't old to accommodate a new space, however, they decide to spend, spend, spend on new furniture. I run everything in my shop; I deal directly with my customers. I try to save them money as I want someone to save me. I had a dishwasher repair man at my house three weeks ago to repair a 2-year-old dishwasher; the outcome of the visit was to pay nine hundred dollars for a four to six hundred dollar replacement, which is ridiculous to put on someone no matter the situation. What makes me different than others in my business? I would say most companies owners and employees sleep well at night as they always have a way of passing problems onto someone else they don't care to compare to other businesses. As my father and grandfather told me, you have to be able to sleep at night knowing you did right by someone. I am 57 years old, and I was told I would be in a wheelchair by the age of 40 from many years of hard work, and I am still going and enjoy impressing my customers after a project. I could retire in the near future as everyone else has done; I have no intention of retiring at 62, 65, or 70. I plan to continue working in one way or the other as long as I am capable. God Willing
