Tranquility Rising 513-818-3011 | Government Grant Application

Tranquility Rising | Application Preview

Tranquility Rising is seeking government grants to establish a holistic wellness center to meet growing demand for diverse holistic services. The current rented space is inadequate, as it limits the ability to modify the facilities for practitioners. With limited availability, the center is already fully booked 80% of the time, necessitating an expansion to accommodate additional practitioners and group work.

The business plan involves creating a collaborative team of holistic practitioners ready to join once suitable space is secured. This approach aims to provide a comprehensive range of services for clients in a community-focused environment dedicated to healing.

The applicant, an ex-corrections officer turned holistic practitioner, emphasizes their unique ability to blend traditional western medicine with holistic eastern therapies. Their intention is to demystify holistic treatments by promoting transparency about the services and setting realistic expectations for clients. Authenticity and a commitment to client well-being are central to their practice ethos.

The competition landscape in Cincinnati shows a gap, as no practitioners offer Thai Yoga Therapy in their approach or maintain a centralized location for various holistic healing services. Tranquility Rising’s competitive advantage lies in addressing both physical and emotional health aspects, a dual focus that distinguishes them from existing providers who typically emphasize only one dimension of wellness.

  • Funding Usage

I am creating a holistic wellness center and have currently exhausted my renting options as I need to be able to have access to change the building to fit the needs of each practitioner. I am seeking to find a building that we can expand and really add to our services by brining in others who share the same passion for holistic work.

  • Business Plan

I currently have a list of practitioners that are waiting for us to expand space so they can join our practice. I plan to create an entire wellness team that can provide a multitude of holistic services to support clients all in the same place. I will continue to add services in our current space we are just running out of availability of space as we are fully booked 80% of the time. By adding new practitioners to our team and having more space to provide group work as well the business will thrive and become a place for community and healing. I am an ex-corrections officer turned holistic practitioner. I am able to bridge the cap between traditional western medicine and holistic eastern therapies in a way that most people can relate to. I take all the goodness of eastern therapies and make them more tangible to connect to. A lot of holistic therapies get a bad reputation for not working because practitioners are not explaining the process and the expectations that clients can expect. I am fully transparent with the limitations that each service has and makes the client feel empowered to take action on their healing journey. I am and frills practitioner that will tell you exactly how it is and if I am not the right practitioner for you I will tell you. I am not someone who is willing to take money just for the sake of making a paycheck, my goal is to ensure clients find the right solution for them even if it is outside our practice. Authenticity is key value for me as I grow my business.

  • Self Identified Competition

I don't have active competitors, no one in Cincinnati is Thai Yoga Therapy in the way I am doing it and as far as my research has gone there is no one general focal point for holistic healers. Most holistic practitioners are working out of other businesses and my goal is to bring us under one roof so we can engage clients in the best treatment route for them. I would say I am approaching holistic healing from a different view point. I am working on both the physical and emotional components of why people are sick and from what I have seen around Cincinnati most companies are only focused on one or the other not both together.
