  • Funding Usage

    These funds will support our growth by allowing us to hire key personnel, obtain additional equipment, begin private labeling our own product lines, and complete development on our custom eCommerce platform. A portion of the funds would go to consolidating business loans and lowering our monthly interest and fixed payments, offering a tremendous relief to cash flow. A majority of the funds would go toward the hiring of an in house development team to continue building out new features in the platform, with the goal to package it and bring to market in 2025/26. Other key personnel we need to bring on include additional sales roles, machine operators and administrative positions. Additionally, we will begin ordering inventory of our private label product line of most common ordered products in our industry, and add additional machinery to support the production needs of decoration on these products.

    We will continue to focus and expand our four main revenue channels: 1) Sales. All our sales are generated through five main divisions under the Promo Retailer umbrella: Retail, Corporate, Education, Leagues, and Fundraising. a. Promo Retailer. This is the online retail arm of our company. Within the platform, all products and features are constructed under this division, then added to other divisions when applicable. Once completed, this will serve as an eCommerce source for consumers to shop customizable products for any event they are preparing for. b. Corporate. We believe that no two companies are alike, and therefore each requires a unique and custom approach to meet all their promotional needs. Our system is designed around a company’s organizational structure and the complexities and challenges that might come with it. Whether or not the organization has multiple facilities, divisions, departments, and management levels; we can create an ordering and approval system to streamline all branded merchandise needs and requirements. Utilizing our custom webstore approach will simplify the ordering process, reduce costs, maintain uniformity across the organization and reduce turn time in all the following categories: -Company Apparel and Uniforms -Safety and Workwear -Sales and Marketing Handouts -Tradeshow Events and Promotional Products -Print Services and Stationery Goods -Years of Service, Appreciation, and Incentive Programs -New Hire Welcome Packages -Corporate Giveaways All our services and programs are free from additional costs and contract obligations. We provide a plethora of items through online stores and can customize any school website with the colors and products to fit the needs of any school. Leagues. It is important to maintain uniformity for any sports team and its supporting members. Uniforms and branded merchandise help to promote unity and camaraderie within a team, which can have a major impact on performance and results of the game. Our goal is to offer a platform where team members, parents and the community can view and purchase these items from one source, allowing simplicity and uniformity in the process. Whether it is gameday uniforms, fan wear, apparel, bags, rally towels, stadium seats, caps, outerwear, etc. Our platform also allows a price setting feature for fund raising initiatives. The organizer can pick all the products and markup, and the proceeds will be sent back to the team along with transparent reports. A cash donation item can be added as well for teams looking to reach out to family or the local community for support. e. Fundraising. We offer the online fundraising tools that are necessary to make any fundraiser a success. With our online fundraising software, we’re able to maximize donor funding and increase revenues while bringing a greater awareness to the cause. Whether you are an individual, part of a team, or part of a larger corporate organization, we have the capabilities to service fundraisers of all sizes and for any length of time. Our online platform enables the client to create a mobile friendly custom fundraising website where they can tell their story and raise funds doing it. We do this by offering several items and brands with custom designs, as well as cash donations. 2) In-house Production. Most companies in our industry follow the same business model; come up with a creative name, tap into a network of suppliers, and begin selling. This model can work, but the seller will always be under the discretion of the suppliers with zero control of turn time, quality, and costs. Anyone that has worked in this industry for more than a month knows that many orders end up as rush jobs, and for many reasons. Clients forget about events and place last minute orders, suppliers mess up and need to replace the product, missing items, poor quality, shipped too late to arrive on time, stock issues, etc., the list goes on and on. These are all situations where the only solution for most sellers in our industry would be to reach out to the client and deliver bad news. On our production floor we can run everything on our schedule, approve the quality upfront, and meet deadlines that would not be possible with other sellers in our industry. With our current machinery, we can handle laser engraving, embroidery, digital printing for apparel, and large format printing (banners, decals, stickers, signs, wall art, etc.). In Q2 of 2023, we will add additional machinery to handle screen printing, UV printing for hard goods, sublimation, and CNC routing. With these machines, we can handle any order that comes through all Promo Retailer divisions. 3) Software Solutions. We decided to build our own solution for two reasons; One: It is flexible enough to handle any client’s needs and simplify the backend management of orders, with zero limitations to scalability. Two: We can license the product in the future as a subscription-based model for other promotional product companies. Off the shelf software solutions are the standard in our industry, and while they are all unique and useful in their own way, each comes with its own limitations and don’t offer realistic scalability functions that fit our business model. We offer complimentary company stores for all our clients as part of our service. These stores contain products from our database and serve as a simple ordering tool while maintaining brand standards and uniformity across all locations. Each site can be created within one day and are customized to include the specific clients color theme and logo on all products added to the site. We can add approval, checkout and accounting processes, and structure the site to fit any organizational needs, including multiple facilities and complex hierarchies. As new product lines become available or if changes are made to existing products, we can push across everything to any site, instantaneously. Although it will take a couple years to complete development of all features and the product database, this will give us time to test the system limitations and capabilities before offering as a subscription package. Upon release, our product database will offer the top suppliers within our industry, as well as our own private label products we bring to market over the coming years. This will increase the revenue on these products, our production floor volume, and promotes brand recognition of our line to a wider audience. Our platform can easily be integrated with hundreds of compatible systems (QuickBooks, Microsoft Teams, etc.), and can be packaged for use to small and large sized promotional product companies at an affordable monthly price. 4) Private Labeling. With our model, we will eventually have hundreds of sites built out for customers to use when needed, and the ability to add or promote new products across those sites with the push of a button. An example of this would be an RTIC tumbler. We sell these at $19.85 for a one-off purchase, at $12.90 all in cost (including decoration), which gives us a margin of 35%. We can privately label a tumbler of the exact specs with an all-in cost of $9.15, increasing the margin to 54%. The margin increases get even larger on smaller trade show items, and the number of items we could use this method for are endless. After building our initial book of business, we began the process of building our platform and facility to support our plan of changing this industry. There have been some extremely challenging times, especially through the ups and downs of the pandemic, but we continue to work at it and grind it out each and every week. We will put the money invested to work as hard as we do, following our mission statement throughout this journey. We not only believe this approach in our industry will prove to be a financially successful one, but that the experience is what the consumers are looking for when spending their money on these products and services.

Custom Ink was launched in 1999 by three former college classmates. 4-Imprint: 4-Imprint is a London-based direct marketer of promotional merchandise. It has offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and Europe. The company provides promotional products to businesses and organizations of all sizes in the US, UK, Canada, and Ireland. HALO Branded Solutions: HALO Branded Solutions, Inc provides promotional marketing products to customers in the U.S. Headquartered in Sterling, Illinois, the company is centrally located in order to support a national client base. Our main difference is our ability to offer what each of our competitors strengths are, all in one package. Our model allows clients to mold their programs with us in any way necessary to fit their organizations needs. At the same time, we are flexible enough in house to meet any one-off, rush or emergency needs outside of the program. This combination sets us apart from our competitors.
