David Khalili Marriage and Family Therapy | Application Preview
David Khalili Marriage and Family Therapy is seeking government grants to address two main goals: paying off debt acquired during the expansion of their practice and funding training for clinicians to better serve marginalized populations.
The business intends to adopt a whole-person wellness approach by adding trauma-informed LGBTQ and BIPOC affirming providers, as well as other wellness practitioners like acupuncturists and massage therapists. This diversified services model aims to significantly increase revenue while providing affordable treatment options for marginalized communities.
Khalili brings two decades of experience in mental health and sexual wellness, which equips him with insights into industry demands. His focus is on fostering community collaboration to enhance treatment effectiveness for clients.
In terms of competition, Foresight Mental Health has rapidly expanded but lacks the foundation of mental health practitioners. Khalili's practice stands out by specializing in the treatment of anxiety and trauma specifically within the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, addressing issues such as shame, infertility, and domestic violence that are particularly relevant to these populations.
