Zamden Express Transport, LLC 92-3167162 | Government Grant Application

Zamden Express Transport, LLC | Application Preview

Zamden Express Transport, LLC is seeking government grant funding primarily to purchase equipment. This approach is aimed at avoiding high leasing and rental costs, allowing the company to redirect funds towards growth-oriented expenses instead of heavy financial burdens.

The business plan focuses on minimizing operating costs in the trucking industry. Any excess funds will be invested in assets that strengthen the company and help reduce unnecessary expenditures. There is also an intent to diversify operations to explore new ventures.

The application emphasizes the tough nature of the trucking industry, where the company earns a mere $1.50 per hour after long hours on the road, often sacrificing family time. Despite these challenges, the owner is dedicated to working hard and growing the business, expressing gratitude for any assistance.

In terms of competition, Zamden faces several large, established companies such as Swift, Knight, XPO, Schneider, UPS, and FedEx, which have substantial resources for expansion. However, the owner believes they share a similar passion and drive as those who founded these successful firms, having gained insight from working with some of them. This experience informs their strategies and ambitions to thrive in the industry.

  • Funding Usage

Mainly to buy equipment instead of paying insane leasing or rental costs. This will allow funds to be allocated towards expenses that will promote growth rather than bog it down with unnecessary payments.

  • Business Plan

Keep operating costs as low as possible is the key to trucking. Spend any surplus funds towards assets that will fortify the company and reduce unnecessary expenses. Diversify when possible to expand operations into other ventures. This is an expensive business to be in with harsh working conditions. For the hours we spend working out on the road and for the whole business we make around a $1.50/hr with only a few days a month for family, friends and home life. But we do it because it becomes our way of life that most of us love to do. I will continue to put in the hard work and long hours to grow my business for as long as I can and any help would be appreciated.

  • Self Identified Competition

There's quite a few big companies that are publicly traded with millions to expand and are constant fixtures on the highways. Swift, knight, XPO, Schneider, UPS, Fedex, etc. Most of those companies started where I'm at, just one guy planting a seed and helping it grow. Not much different at all, if anything, more alike. I have the same passion and ambition as the people that started those companies. And, I have worked for a few of them and have observed the commonalities and practices that gave them the best pathways to become the successes that they are today.
