4PM Dance | Application Preview
4PM Dance is seeking government grants to enhance their community-oriented dance studio. The funding will be allocated to hire dance instructors, upgrade equipment and facilities, improve the overall experience for children participating in classes, and provide classes for lower-income families.
The business plan focuses on reaching dancers aged three to eighteen through local marketing efforts, expanding their social media presence, and collaborating with local schools to promote the studio's diverse dance class offerings.
4PM's funding request is grounded in its commitment to inclusivity and creating a safe, positive environment for all dancers, regardless of their backgrounds. The studio aims to attract students from competitors who are losing members due to toxic atmospheres.
A competitive advantage for 4PM is its registration with the Department of Justice as a small business dedicated to working with minors. They plan to implement strict government policies requiring background checks for all instructors and staff, a standard not observed by other studios in the area. This focus on safety further distinguishes 4PM from its competitors.

Business Plan
4PM plans to market to reach more dancers between the ages of three to eighteen in our local areas, grow our social media platforms in order to bring in more customers, and plan to work closely with the local schools in the area to let the families know that we are a new dance studio that offers many different options for dance classes. 4PM is a community-oriented dance studio, where all dancers' social and economic backgrounds are considered. We offer a safe and positive space for all children who love to dance.

Self Identified Competition
4PM's biggest competitors in the area are experiencing a loss of students due to toxic and unwelcoming atmospheres for students. Our goal at 4PM is to welcome in these dancers into a space that is encouraging for all different types of dancers and backgrounds. 4PM has been registered with the Department of Justice to become a small business that works specifically with minors. Moving forward, we plan to implement government policies that require all instructors and administrative staff to be background checked via live scan. Other dance studios in the area have not taken these measures to ensure a safe environment for their dancers.
