The applicant is seeking government grants to fund their education in Accounting, specifically aiming for an Associate's degree. The degree program is expected to take 2-3 years, with an estimated total tuition cost ranging from $8,400 to $12,600, depending on the number of courses taken each semester. The applicant’s current job as a Caseworker does not provide sufficient income to cover tuition costs, nor does it offer reimbursement for education unrelated to Social Work.

The plan includes attending BMCC college for the Associate's degree, with the intention to apply for a finance apprenticeship in the final year. Upon completion, the applicant aims to gain expertise in tax processing, bookkeeping, and investment banking, ultimately aspiring to become a Certified Public Accountant.

The applicant believes funding approval is justified due to the consistent demand for accounting professionals. They highlight that tax preparation and bookkeeping services are essential for individuals and businesses alike, showcasing their potential to effectively manage financial records and provide valuable investment advice.

  • Funding Usage

I will utilize the whole funding towards my education in Accounting. I want to obtain an Associate's degree in Accounting which may last 2-3 years, depending on the courses that are needed. Therefore, each semester will involve 2 courses totaling approximately 1400.00. There may be 2-3 semesters a year. The tuition cost can range from 8400.00 to 12,600.00. Unfortunately, my job as a Caseworker is not sufficient to cover these costs with my other bills I have to maintain. In addition, my job will not reimburse me for school unless it is in the Social Work field.

  • Business Plan

As I stated prior, I plan on attending BMCC college for an Associate's Degree in Accounting, in which my last year I will apply for an apprenticeship program in finance. Afterwards, I will be knowledgeable in processing taxes for people. In addition, I will work with companies managing their books as a bookkeeper and advise with investment banking. Basically, I will continue to elevate until I become a Certified Public Accountant. Investors should invest in me because my future title is always needed. Everyone needs their taxes completed annually and most companies need bookkeepers. Therefore, I will be capable of managing companies' financial records as a bookkeeper/auditor. Also, I will be knowledgeable in assisting people with smart investments that will be beneficial in the long run.
