    I plan to grow my business by securing US manufacturing so I have less money ties up in inventory and carrying costs and can spend more on product development and advertising specialists through local USA businesses. I have a track record of commitment. Have been in business for 15 years and made it through the tough times with covid. As we all know, weddings and events came to a stand still in 2020 and 2021. I am unique as the wedding industry is a service driven business with venues, and service businesses making up the largest percentage of the industry. Product sales (like mine) are not the norm and so it has been hard finding opportunities for grant monies for this reason. (I don't fall in normal categories)

    Interestingly enough. As an e-commerce retailer. I sell on Etsy but also find most of my competition there also. There are all kinds of artisans that have flooded the ETSY marketplace in the last 5 years making it very competitive. I also compete with the larger big box retailers like Bed, Bath and Beyond, Macy's, etc. as they also carry wedding card boxes from large companies with this niche product. I am a niche seller with a niche product line. I am different from my competitors because I have a patented product in a service business. I am so glad that 16 years ago I sought out a patent and received it to keep the direct competition away and thankfully it has. We are the only card box on the market that displays photos and rotates while there are many many wooden boxes and glass boxes to hold the wedding cards. I believe we are the only patented wedding card box on the market today.
