Gunners Mobile Blasting LLC Gunners Mobile Blasting LLC | Government Grant Application

Gunners Mobile Blasting LLC | Application Preview

Gunners Mobile Blasting LLC is a disabled veteran-owned small business seeking government grants to pay off existing equipment and business loans, and to purchase an air compressor. The funding is essential for the company to begin making a profit and reinvest into the business.

The company's business plan focuses on securing government set-aside contracts for sandblasting smaller parts in a shop environment. The owner has already established a shop, acquired a large sandblasting cabinet, and successfully completed sub-contracts, with profits used to enhance the business infrastructure. Plans are in place to bid on larger contracts, leveraging the owner's military background and commitment to quality work.

The owner, a retired Marine Corps officer, emphasizes their strong reputation developed over three years and recent collaborations with major contractors. They are determined to expand into the commercial and government contracting markets, with a focus on hiring veterans and contributing positively to the community.

Gunners Mobile Blasting currently faces minimal local competition for mobile sandblasting services. The company's competitive edge lies in its dedication to quality work, the commitment to provide jobs for veterans, and a long-term vision that extends to future generations. The owner's motivation is not only business success but also making a positive impact on the lives of veterans facing challenges in their post-service lives.

  • Business Plan

Being a Disable Veteran Owned Small business I am looking into government set aside contracts that would allow us to win contracts where we do sandblasting of smaller parts that need to be reconditioned. This would happen in a shop setting. I have already build the shop, paid for through the business, purchased a large sand blasting cabinet, all paid for through the business, now I just need the funding for a large air compressor and to pay off some other equipment and loans. We are also planning on biding on larger scale contracts either as a prime or sub, we did win two sub contracts on a military insulation last year, which I took the profits from those two jobs and built a shop and purchased additional equipment with. I am a retired Marine Corps Officer, I believe in building a business on the quality of our work we do. Its been three years and we have one of the best reputations in our field hands down. We just started last year working with larger contractors such as TA Loving and others. I want to expand our business to the commercial and contractors side, plus government contracts. I use the work we, as I refer to my two sons that are part of the company, we all believe in hard work and doing the job right the first time. Both my sons have dedicated their lives to this business and they country as they are both in the Nation Guard. We are looking to build this company much larger and we plan on hiring mainly veterans.

  • Self Identified Competition

Right now we have no competitors for local work within a 100 miles for mobile sandblasting. Our motivation and drive to make something that can be pasted down to my sons and their sons. To be able to provided other veterans as we grow with a living wage and a purposed. There are to many homeless and hopeless veterans out there, If we can help just one it would be worth it. This is our drive to make this company grow and stay for the long haul.
