Irene's Dream 611500491 | Government Grant Application

Irene's Dream | Application Preview

Irene's Dream seeks government grants to fund the establishment and expansion of a support service aimed at assisting veterans and domestic violence survivors. The funding will be allocated for business setup, including a physical location, technology resources like a computer with multiple screens, office furniture, internet access, and a secure online client management system. Additionally, Irene plans to pursue a business degree and hire a part-time research assistant for three months.

The business model relies on word-of-mouth referrals, with a focus on helping individuals navigate obstacles to achieve goals related to education, disability claims, and personal recovery. Irene aims to assist five clients monthly, charging a base fee of $250 for consultations and $1,000 to $2,000 for project completions, with additional fees for extended assistance. Currently established in San Antonio and expanding into Fort Worth, she plans to broaden her reach further.

Irene emphasizes her determination and personal experience, asserting that her unique understanding of clients’ struggles enables her to provide tailored support. She envisions a community-based approach, encouraging collaboration over legal battles, and promoting empowerment through available resources. Her competitive edge lies in her empathy and firsthand knowledge, which position her to offer practical solutions beyond traditional legal options.

  • Funding Usage

business location, computer with three screens, power and cables, desk and internet capabilities, networking, and school to get a business degree, I also would like to pay for my other counterpart to be able to assist with research part-time for 3 months. A safe/secure online portal like needles to monitor and keep client records.

  • Business Plan

word of mouth. I have helped aid veterans primarily. I have done this voluntarilly because I wanted to gain experience although I was paid on different occasions. I also would like to help other domestic violence survivors by aiding in their funding opps to help them get off their feet. I would plan to grow my business by grants and federal opportunities. I would network and aim at helping 5 candidates per month on monthly basis (60 per year) and charge a base service feel on $250 to review and consult. If able to help, the client would fulfil services and it would be $1000-$2000 paid out by finalization of project. If time goes over, they would have to pay a monthly fee. I estimate that by word of mouth , I will be able to help others. I also only have helped people in San Antonio and one other person as trial in Fort Worth, Texas. I would like to broaden location. I have grit and drive. I am persistent and a mother who will stop at nothing to ensure my daughters know that there is no excuse other then to be successful. Chance favors the prepared mind. I want to help those in our community, our underdogs, who want to do better whether it means to get their degree, military disability, escape domestic violence, but don't have the money to do so. I have an idea much like a technical school but in life. For instance, maybe someone needs to get their GED Or school, well I know a resource to do that. Someone needs to apply for disability but is only at a 30%, yet deserves more. I can help. I am the queen of customizing and problem solving. I have an innate ability to help any situation because I have made my own mistakes when escaping domestic violence. I have a plan to have these people create their life successfully, using funding for what is available to each person based on their situation. Rewriting their story with help from the community. There is ways around suing and using attorneys. For every situation, I hear get an attorney. No! Let's work together and help each other be citizens who can help others, positive vibes!

  • Self Identified Competition

VSO I care, and I have been where they are. I am bringing myself up using resources I found. I have a lot of experience in the background of litigation and legal fields. I don't like that this is the only option for most in these positions. There is an easier way to getting what you and your family need.
