All funds will be immediately directed toward the following: 1.) After the new headquarters is in motion, plans call to bring on more staff by filling the positions of Project Manager(s), Project Designer(s), Field Technicians, Front of House Staff and Executive Admin Assistant. 3.) Finally, service vehicles (utility truck / vans) loaded with all the tools and equipment needed for successful installs and routine service calls to be provided for the new work force personnel. With the help of this grant, I can officially lay the foundation of a promising company by obtaining a location for Headquarters operations, fill employment rolls, and have service vehicles ready for field work. With the foundation in place and more helping hands to keep the wheels spinning, I will be able to focus more of my attention on Sales & Marketing, driving in new business opportunities by establishing a broader network of builders, designers, and homeowner referrals. I started Reed Audio Video LLC with limited resources and plagued with obstacles, building a desirable reputation within the local community and within the industry was no easy accomplishment. In 2019, I took a chance in becoming a self-made American by venturing off as my own boss and investing all the money I could scrape together for tools, supplies, and generic marketing (business cards / website) and from the ground-up began to win projects by cold-calling on job sites and maximizing referral opportunities generated from the excellent work delivered to the referee. Along the way of building a company from the ground up with little spending power, I have been victim of theft across the board, stolen vehicles, stolen tools, stolen electronics and equipment and vandalism of property but grit my teeth and muscled through the criminal actions that proved to be steep obstacles and overcame to continue winning over the hearts of clients and delivering customer satisfaction across the board. Despite all of the hardships I have endured, I continue to fight tooth and nail to keep my small business moving forward - I am proud to announce that we are Authorized Dealers for some of the world’s largest and most respected manufacturers (Control4, MartinLogan, Lutron, HunterDouglas, Parasound, Texton, and many more). Now, with all of the manufactures that we endorse, I am eager to take giant leaps to the next level in our expansion by offering potential/returning customers a show room experience for hands-on demonstrations, dedicated training rooms for continued educational growth, safe space for equipment and vehicle storage, and bringing more job opportunities to our local community. When my objectives are finally complete, then we can become more involved with community services to better the lives and environment around us.
