Business Plan
Firstly, we intend to stay consistent with booking events in store and off site to keep interest. We drive big on social media getting the experience of Candle Making to the public. Secondly, we would like to expand our portable ability when going to offsites and farmers markets to protect the candles and to be able to allow people to experience candle Making on the go. Therefore, we’d like to purchase an air conditioned trailer so that people can come in and buy candles but also be able to make their custom scented candle. I am driven simply by the passion of allowing people to escape from their daily stressors. I love tantalizing all of their senses to give them a great experience and a take away that they can do anything they put their minds to. I am a mother of 5, with two business degrees. I am a social worker by day and a crafter by night. I also bring in other artisans and their crafts to be able to share that with customers also. Those may include, blanket Making, painting, macrame, home decor boards etc. I went from Making candles in my kitchen and selling them at farmers markets to an overnight success in a storefront in downtown Temple Texas where people are raving about us. We have been featured on the local news twice, had two articles written about us and have been invited to share this experience with the Fort Cavazos military spouses and local teachers for team building. The Wick and Burn is on its way up with no ending in sight!

Currently, there are no other businesses that focus on the Candle Making Experiences within 100 miles or more. Firstly, there are No competitors locally. Secondly, we aren’t focused on driving sales for the candle line but more so on allowing people to create lasting memories.
