Scotty Miller Infinity Sports Center | Application Preview
Scotty Miller Infinity Sports Center is seeking government grants to enhance their sports program by securing a more suitable facility. They have received bids for a new building, estimated at 1 million dollars, but are open to various forms of support, including funding for rent, uniforms, or coaching expenses.
The center aims to expand its sports offerings to include basketball, sand beach volleyball, pickleball, and more indoor volleyball opportunities. Currently renting facilities with limited courts, they've experienced significant growth since starting in church gyms in 2018. Despite providing sports programs seven days a week, they still have to limit participation due to space constraints. The proposed new space would allow them to further increase revenue and accommodate more athletes.
The funding request emphasizes their commitment to serving the community rather than making a profit. The founder does not take a salary and has personally invested in the facility’s setup, including renovations and equipment. With the closure of local YMCA facilities, the center aims to fill a critical gap in youth sports opportunities. There is no direct competition in the area, highlighting the pressing need for their services. The center appreciates any support to continue providing valuable programs for local children.

Funding Usage
In order to provide more opportunities a facility would be optimal and I have had 2 bids on that and it was 1 million but I am open to anything that would help with our program. Whether it is for rent, pay, uniforms anything I am grateful for.

Business Plan
Allow more sports options basketball, sand beach volleyball, pickleball and allow more indoor volleyball opportunities for our community. I have buildings I am renting now with one volleyball court in each. I keep the gyms Full 7 days a week with something going on. We started by playing in church gyms and got our first building/court 2018 and we had to turn kids away due to space so 2 years later I got a second building due to growth and we generate more revenue due to having space. We are still having to limit and turn athletes/children away. We will increase revenue significantly with the right space and being able to offer basketball and Volleyball as well. We are not in this for the money! I do not get paid just trying keep the rent/bills, and my coaches paid for helping. I was out of pocket myself for the court floor, building, ACs, and all build outs. We do it for the kids. They CLOSED all of our YMCA years ago so no opportunity here and it is such a NEED! We do work hard and try to keep it busy 7 days a week and usually 9-9 in summer months Any help would be appreciated. I just need a little help, please!
