Chunk it and dump it | Application Preview
Chunk It and Dump It is seeking a government grant of $100,000 to purchase additional equipment and expand its operations. The funding will be used to acquire more dumpsters, add an excavator to the fleet, and hire staff to effectively manage daily operations.
The business plan includes increasing the number of dumpsters available for rental and enhancing the fleet with trucks for transportation. The company aims to secure more contracts for disaster relief across the United States, not just in Florida.
The owner emphasizes their commitment and hard work, having already invested $175,000 in equipment ownership that keeps overhead low. Their experience in disaster response, such as in Florida and Mississippi, demonstrates the company’s potential for growth within the construction and services sectors.
In terms of competition, the business faces opponents like Big Mike’s Dumpsters, Merkel's Hauling Services, and Waste Pro, the latter being the largest in the market. However, Chunk It and Dump It highlights its competitive edge through ownership of equipment, competitive pricing, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
The owner is determined to drive the business forward and contribute to job creation within the construction industry, as the demand for dumpsters and related services remains constant, particularly during natural disasters.
