Business Plan
I have already met with members of the home school association board, which comprises over 50,000 kids in the greater Raleigh area. I anticipate growing my business through the following channels: 1. Holding individual and group classes for my various courses for both home schooled and public school students, outside of school. 2. Expanding curriculum to be available for online purchase via either single course, or subscription based revenue. 3. Year 2 or 3, seek approval or accreditation to provide my curriculum inside the school systems in NC. This could be done via weekend sessions, or eventually, selling the curriculum to the individual districts for them to teach it themselves. Children today are graduating both high school and even college with little to no experience in personal finance, time management skills, emotional intelligence, or personal development. I have interviewed numerous parents and students, and have found a tremendous need in these areas. My initial curriculum being developed will be Introduction to Personal Finance and will cover things like how to development a personal budget, how credit scores impact every large purchase you make, dangers of credit cards and " minimum payment due", personal investing, and overall financial management. Personally, I have run and managed multiple businesses over the past 25 years. I hold a BS in education, as well as an MBA.

1. the school systems - which is a very poor competitor. They do not cover these topics in detail 2. Companies like Dave Ramsey - which provides services geared toward working adults, not high school and college students These will be individual or small group courses that are geared to the specific audience. Also, I have a full time job, so I am not doing this to get rich. I am interested in students avoiding the terrible epidemic in this country of living off credit and above their means.
