Park Avenue Laundry LLC 85-1780649 | Government Grant Application

Park Avenue Laundry LLC | Application Preview

Park Avenue Laundry LLC is seeking government grants to update its plumbing and heating systems and to purchase new laundry machines to better serve customers.

The business plans to expand by renting an adjacent space to install additional machines, addressing the high demand it currently faces. With many customers frequently visiting, the need for more machines is evident.

The owner emphasizes a commitment to a safe and clean environment and actively engages with the community for feedback on improvements.

In terms of the competitive landscape, there are only three other laundromats in the area, which have outdated equipment and higher prices. Park Avenue Laundry maintains lower prices and offers a more comfortable experience, especially in the summer months due to its air-conditioned facility.

The business distinguishes itself not only through customer engagement but also by supporting local non-profits with a portion of its profits and providing a food pantry, thereby fostering a strong sense of community involvement. This connection to the community enhances customer loyalty and positions the laundry as a socially responsible choice.

To get the plumbing and heating updated. Also to purchase new machines to better serve our customers.

  • Business Plan

I would love to rent the space next to us and install more machines. We get very busy and sometimes we don't have enough machines to take care of all of the customers. I do everything in my power to make sure I can provide a safe and clean facility. I am always reaching out to the community for suggestions on how to make the business better and take into consideration their desires of what they would like to see happen within the facility.

  • Self Identified Competition

There are only 3 other laundromat in town. We have kept our prices lower to stay competitive and draw more people to our business. They have outdated machines and no air conditioning making my place more desirable during the summer months. They are also much more expensive when it comes to the cost of the machines to use. I not only listen to the community, I also help when I can. We take portions of our profits to help with local non-profit programs. We also offer a food pantry in my facility to help those in need. People who utilize my laundromat know that not only is their money helping a local business they are also a huge part in helping the community.
