The Green Tractor Company | Application Preview
The Green Tractor Company is seeking government grants to finalize its electric garden tractor prototype and initiate production. The funds will be allocated for completing the prototype, building 12-20 initial units, shipping two units to dealerships across the U.S., and for marketing and training programs. A second round of funding will support manufacturing based on purchase orders, with the expectation of becoming profitable by year three, including a payback plan for the grantor.
The company has a robust business plan, with leadership possessing over 60 years of combined experience in startups and exits. Their strategy involves selling tractors to dealerships, aiming for sales of 300 units in the first year, 1,500 in the second, and 3,000 by the third year. Additional support services will enhance revenue and profitability.
A crucial selling point for the funding is the company's patented process for electric tractors and the conversion of existing models, which prevents competitors from replicating their innovation. With no current competitors and a four-year lead time, the company's unique patent protects its market position, especially since traditional tractor companies have not seen the value in their electric approach, which incorporates hydraulic systems. This full patent provides a competitive edge, securing their capability in the emerging market for electric tractors.

Tractors will be sold to dealers and will be profitable once reaching 3000 units sold. 300 first year, 1500 second and 3000 third year. Additional support services will add to the revenue stream adding more margin and sales. I have a patent approve and published on the process of an electric garden tractor and the electrification of older and existing tractors in a conversion. No one else can replicate this without approval on licensing my patent as its patented Use.

Self Identified Competition
There are NO competitors at this time and not for another 4 years. In addition, it cannot use my process to make an electric tractor as I have the rights to the process. Most tractor companies I contacted are not interested as they think they can make a new way to electrify like an EV car, but in a tractor you need hydraulics and I have that patent. Full patent process locks out competition from making a full hydraulic version of electric tractor.
