Deez Cold Ones LLC 4867798 | Government Grant Application

Deez Cold Ones LLC | Application Preview

Deez Cold Ones LLC is seeking government grants with a clear plan for utilizing the funding. The money will be allocated to pay off a trailer, purchase a truck for towing, cover booking and insurance costs, and stock up on supplies.

The business strategy focuses on actively participating in events such as fairs and festivals to build recognition, which will pave the way for personal and community party bookings. There's a personal touch behind this application; the owner, a single mother of twins, aims to create a sustainable business that allows her to be more present for her children’s activities, particularly during the busy sports season. Currently, she relies on low-cost events that yield minimal profit, while the expense of renting a U-Haul hinders growth.

In terms of competition, the main rival is Kona Ice, which has a significant market presence. However, the owner is motivated by these competitors and aspires to match and surpass their success in the next decade to create a legacy for her grandchildren. A unique selling point for Deez Cold Ones is the extensive range of over 40 distinctive flavors that set it apart in the market, generating curiosity and enthusiasm among customers.

Overall, the grant would not only alleviate financial strain but also support a business model that balances entrepreneurial goals with family commitments.

  • Business Plan

I plan on scheduling as many events (fairs, festivals, and others) to-get myself well known, so I can do personal parties and community events. Promoting at the events will help in a major way. I think I should be rewarded because I started this business with the intentions of being able to be more available to my children while school is in session. I am a single mother of twin boys. One plays basketball and runs track, and the other one plays football. I’m always never available during the season because I’m too busy doing gig jobs to stay on top of bills. I figure when I’m able to have a full schedule of events for the summer while school is out, I’ll have enough saved to carry bills so I can be more hands on with practice and games. Right now I can only schedule for events that have a low cost, but the crowds aren’t enough to have a good profit margin. This investment would also help me save on rental cost. I have to rent a u-haul pick up truck every time I have an event. I’m leasing a equinox but it’s not strong enough to pull the trailer, and that’s just a useless business expense.

  • Self Identified Competition

Kona Ice is the main competitor. Of corse there are others but they are my motivators. They have karts,, brick and mortar locations all over the world, and trailers they use to do catering events. I plan to be as big as they are within the next 10 years, and pass the business on to my future grandchildren so they can have their own income. I have flavors no one else have. No matter where I go people always say, “OMG I never seen these flavors before, how does it taste?” I have more that 40 flavors, and I buy from suppliers who are well known.
