Class Act Crawlers | Application Preview
Class Act Crawlers is seeking government grants to support the purchase of machinery, start-up supplies, and cover lease and utility expenses for their welding school. The business aims to expand its course offerings, providing various certification levels and a line of retail products.
The mission of Class Act Crawlers is deeply rooted in fostering education and skill development, particularly as many valuable vocational classes are being cut from high school curricula. As a veteran-owned and operated enterprise, they are committed to offering affordable tuition for high school students and young adults, focusing on personal development and job placement training in welding and related fields. They also intend to provide advanced courses for experienced welders seeking certification for diverse career opportunities.
In terms of competition, they face established training providers like The Fab School, UTI, and American Fabrication Academy. However, Class Act Crawlers sets itself apart by prioritizing affordability for low and middle-class families. Their approach includes personalized instruction, which ensures that students receive the attention they need for effective learning, contrasting with the larger class sizes often found at competing institutions. This focus on individualized training enhances their ability to prepare students for successful careers in various industries.

Business Plan
Growing the welding school classes to offer several different courses and certification levels and line of retail products. We are Veteran owned and operated fabrication business who believes in the value of teaching and growing the next generation. It saddens us to see elective classes such as auto shop, woodworking and welding being removed from high schools when many students still seek jobs in these career fields after graduating. We are here to develop programs that offer personal development in these skill sets and job placement training for high school students and young adults with affordable tuition costs. We also plan to develop courses to help experienced welders become certified for job placement in various industries.
