The business plan outlines an ambitious growth trajectory, aiming to add a second truck and hire one additional employee by 2025, followed by the addition of a third truck and a second employee by 2027. The company also plans to hire an account manager or dispatcher to optimize operations.
The application highlights the applicant's extensive management experience, including 25 years in the military, which has equipped them with strong resource management capabilities. The goal is to foster a positive and professional environment for employees, as well as to enhance productivity and skill development.
In terms of competition, D&M Haulers acknowledges Kirsch Transportation, a female-owned trucking company admired for its services and employee satisfaction. The aim is to adopt similar values while distinguishing the business by focusing on community integration and affordability.
The competitive edge will come from providing accessible services to locals, especially for freight that exceeds typical vehicle capacities. Additionally, D&M Haulers plans to outfit employees with professional gear to enhance their appearance and the overall professionalism of the company. Business Plan
Expand to 2nd truck and 1 employee by 2025 Expand to 3rd truck and 2nd employee by 2027 Hire on an account manager/dispatcher I'm an experienced manager, 25 years in the military groomed me and developed strong resource management skills. I would bring a new way of seeing truckers and the companies they work for. I want to create a positive atmosphere and professional look for my employees. I've been successful in creating productive teams before and rehabilitating members who aren't productive into different skills where they see their potential

Self Identified Competition
Kirsch Transportation is a female-owned trucking company that I am impressed with their services and employees that I have worked with. I'd like to take from their positive experience and transition my company with the same passion but in a different area to immerge into the community as well as big stream. I would bring my company close to the community to provide services that would be affordable to locals, expanding as local general freight carriers. Offer locals access to pickup small items but that are too big for a car/trunk. I would provide professional gear (boots, clothes, hats) for employees. Expand my company large stream to become comparable to companies like Kirsch Transportation. Eventually increase every 2 years to 1 truck and 1 driver.
