Serve One Another LLC | Application Preview
Serve One Another LLC is seeking government grants to establish a community hub aimed at providing accessible resources for personal and career development. The funding will be used to acquire a building where community members can connect, network, and collaborate, along with purchasing necessary equipment such as computers and furniture. The budget also includes marketing and first-year operational costs.
The business plan focuses on community engagement through events and social gatherings, targeting individuals who often lack access to essential resources. Serve One Another aims to create lasting connections and is committed to supporting members through affordable and tailored services over the next five years.
The need for funding is underscored by the founder's personal journey as a first-generation graduate, which highlighted the challenges of resource accessibility and support. Despite facing obstacles, the founder has gained valuable experiences that can help others navigate similar struggles. Serve One Another aspires to instill a culture of community support and encouragement.
In terms of competition, Serve One Another faces local libraries, a co-working space called Gather, and the YMCA, which primarily focuses on wellness. However, its competitive edge lies in offering a more specialized service that prioritizes individual needs, encouraging collaboration among small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in a supportive environment.

Business Plan
I plan to grow my business through getting involved in my local community. Serve One Another exists to make personal and career building resources more accessible and affordable for members of the community that are typically at a disadvantage. Going out into the community, hosting socials, events and marketing are essential activities to reach those who fall through the cracks. There are written goals established for the next 5 years that include growing organically through making lasting connections, referrals, and affiliates. As a first-generation graduate in my family, there were few resources, including navigators to assist in teaching me where to find and how to utilize resources that were available. Later, the lack of access caused delays in my organization's growth. Additionally, due to economic conditions, maintaining a full-time job was necessary until the business foundation was laid properly. Though I faced adversity, I have learned that my delays were necessary to prepare me to lead others to their purpose. In that time, I learned as much as I can about everything I that could be useful information through research and personal experiences. Investors should invest in me because I stand to establish an organization with a stable foundation in connecting, growing and encouraging people to meet their next level. Serve One Another meets people where they are to guide them with a hope to foster an infectious, pay-it-forward nature.
