Christopher L. PC Repairs LLC. 204886 | Government Grant Application

Christopher L. PC Repairs LLC. | Application Preview

Christopher L. PC Repairs LLC is seeking government grants to support its growth and enhance service capabilities. The funding will be used to acquire mobile devices, repair parts, and assist with rent and utility expenses, alleviating financial pressures.

The business plan focuses on expanding service capacity by dispatching multiple technicians for local jobs and pursuing larger contracts that may take several days to complete. Additionally, Christopher aims to open a second shop to better serve customers located more than 45 minutes away for device repairs and sales.

Christopher highlights his over 30 years of experience in technical repair, establishing a strong reputation in Morehouse parish, Louisiana, after relocating from Chicago. Despite challenges such as the closing of the local paper mill and the impact of COVID-19, his business has attracted loyal customers who appreciate his expertise and integrity.

Key competitors include K&R Wireless, Walmart, and 5 Star Wireless. However, Christopher emphasizes his competitive edge: a strong customer relationship built on trust and reliability. He is willing to go the extra mile for his customers, including after-hours support and educating them on device maintenance, which has solidified his reputation as a go-to resource in the community.

Ultimately, securing this funding is crucial for Christopher to meet the increasing demand for his services and ensure continued business growth.

  • Business Plan

To be able to dispatch multiple techs to handle the small local tech jobs and secure larger tech jobs that may span over the course of multiple days to complete. Open a second shop to help cover the customers im getting that has to travel over 45 minutes one way for device repairs and sales. Continue to work to get local and federal government contracts. I have over 30 years in the technical/repair field. I relocated from Chicago 20 years ago and grew a name for myself in the northeast Louisiana area of Morehouse parish as the top computer / network repair tech. Customers trust my opinion from seeing me in their place of business, churches and countless other places doing my trade. After the closing of the local paper mill the income level and the population dropped drastically but I endured so when the shop open it was happily greeted by old and new customers and have been reviewed as the best in my field in my area but as stated previously, after Covid 19 business suffered and getting ahead has been a up hill battle. I have customer flow but im unable to fill their needs because of low funding

  • Self Identified Competition

1- K&R Wireless, a small mobile device repair and sales location that opened 1 year after I opened A&J Technologies, the owner is actually a friend of my daughter that first asked to partner with me. 2- Walmart, the small business nightmare but there are quite a few employees that come to me or refer customers to me for repairs. 3 - 5 Star Wireless, also a small mobile device sales and service shop that has been barred from doing business in the city of Bastrop and has moved to Monroe La they have been in business starting here and continuing in Monroe for almost 10 years. they are the discount repair shop that you get what you pay for. My customer know me or they have received a positive recommendation about me from people they trust. My customers know im not trying to rob them or take for granted the lack of knowledge about what they come to me for. I'm willing to met with them after hours or on my 1 day off if its really an emergency, im not always able to correct the issue for them especially on a Sunday but if I can I will and I try to educate my customers on the things that they can do to keep their devices working correctly or how to take care of the basics themselves.
