Joyal DPT aims to build a robust physical therapy business that could eventually evolve into wellness centers, aiming to alleviate physical pain and promote health within the community.
As a determined 31-year-old single black woman, the founder emphasizes her commitment to creating a beneficial business model that will enhance the overall healthcare system in America. Despite facing competition from well-established companies like Select Rehab, H2 Health, and Brooks, which accept health insurance, Joyal DPT distinguishes itself as a cash-based practice. This allows for more personalized and efficient care, as the founder has consistently received positive feedback from clients who prefer her approach.
The application appeals for funding based on the potential of Joyal DPT to impact the community positively and provide an alternative to traditional physical therapy services, ultimately contributing to better health outcomes for clients.

Business Plan
My marketing strategy at the moment is word of mouth and social media. Over the next 5yrs I aim to increase networks with marketers and videographers to increase social media content, and venture into magazine/ newspaper and commercial (TV, radio) marketing. I am a 31yo single black woman, highly determined to create a viable physical therapy business that can grow into wellness centers in the Jacksonville FL area to help as many people as possible get control of their physical pain, improve their health/wellness and overall function, and spread the knowledge of the benefits of exercise to all. Investors should want to invest in me because my vision would benefit the masses, together we can improve the overall healthcare system in America.

Self Identified Competition
My top 3 competitors in Jacksonville are already established large physical therapy companies including Select Rehab, H2 Health, and Brooks. They are competitors because they accept health insurance, where my physical therapy company is cash based. I am different from my competitors because I am not limited by insurance, therefore I am more likely and more able to provide excellent physical therapy services that is palpable to clients. Clients who have worked with me when I was working for my competitors often told me I should start my own business b/c they would rather work with me. I take pride in making sure my clients understand the reasons behind why I instruct them to do rehab exercises or other services, as a result my clients often get better sooner and more efficiently than if they were getting treated by other therapists at a regular physical therapy clinic.
