Liberty Call Recruiting Liberty Call Recruiting | Government Grant Application

Liberty Call Recruiting | Application Preview

Liberty Call Recruiting is seeking government grants to support its operations, specifically for investment in database search engines like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed, which will help cover overhead costs as the business grows. The applicant has over 20 years of experience and a robust professional network, with plans to expand the business by hiring additional recruiters.

The funding request emphasizes the applicant's successful track record and recommendations from peers to start a business. Having recently experienced a layoff, the applicant, who is a disabled Veteran with a stable income to cover personal expenses, is motivated to focus on building the recruiting business.

In terms of competition, the applicant highlights three other agencies that charge high fees and have less transparent pricing, demonstrating the potential for Liberty Call Recruiting to save clients significant amounts of money by offering more competitive rates. The applicant's unique background as a top recruiter in the Navy allows for strong community relationships and a commitment to the job, distinguishing Liberty Call Recruiting from its competitors.

  • Funding Usage

I will be using the funds for database search engines. Linkedin Recruiter could cost 4,000.00 a quarter and Indeed will cost 1000.00 monthly. The funds will cover overhead costs until enough revenue is generated to maintain on my own.

  • Business Plan

I have developed a great network with over 20 years of working experience. I plan to expand my business to that network and hire additional recruiters to support those clients under my training. I have a proven track record of success. Many others have recommended I start my own business long ago. I was comfortable working a full-time W-2 position, but this last layoff was an eye-opening experience. Being a disabled Veteran,, I have an income to cover my mortgage and other bills, so this will give me the comfort to focus on the business.

  • Self Identified Competition

ECO-Staff charges a 45% markup for temp hires; you never know exactly what you pay upfront. TradeStar is also a temp agency looking for industrial employees for 12%-20% fees. The initial hire is a money grab to get the client's payment. They are then using their 90-day guarantee to find a more stable candidate. Anister is another agency with a temp and placement service with high fees and fewer guarantees. I used all three agencies when I was an in-house recruiter for NCS. In my first month independently, I could perform out these agencies, saving NCS (now clients) a min of 50k to 60k in fees. My introduction to my recruiting career was in the United States Navy during a time of war. I was the best recruiter because I could build a relationship in my community, and with my Deppers (enlisted personnel), I never changed that attitude into my civilian career. I knew I enjoyed doing my job versus doing what I had to do to pay the bills. Antone, who recruited opposite me, knew I was in it for the RIGHT REASONS!
