Infinite Violet Butterfly 88-3457673 | Government Grant Application

Infinite Violet Butterfly | Application Preview

Infinite Violet Butterfly is seeking government grants to support the establishment of their LLC and acquire necessary licenses. The funds will be allocated for expanding inventory, leasing a retail storefront, and promoting the business. The owner recognizes a gap in the market for high-quality glitter and unique crafting products in the area, which will benefit local crafters.

Over the next five years, the business plans to open multiple stores and form a team to facilitate growth. A significant aspect of their mission includes organizing crafting conventions to inspire creativity and supporting veterans by donating a portion of proceeds.

Funding this venture is crucial for enhancing the crafting community in middle Tennessee, where there are many hobbyists and budding entrepreneurs. The local options, such as Hobby Lobby and Michael's, fall short in terms of premium products, particularly in glitter and custom orders. By providing high-quality materials and unique offerings, Infinite Violet Butterfly aims to create a vibrant crafting community.

The business acknowledges its main competitors as Michael's, Hobby Lobby, and Johann's, but distinguishes itself by offering superior quality glitter, a broader selection of inks, and customizable products for crafters. This competitive edge is expected to foster a dedicated customer base eager for unique crafting supplies.

  • Funding Usage

The funding will be used to pay for my LLC and any other licenses needed. Purchasing more inventory for making products to sell and to put money to leasing a retail store front. The area lacks good quality glitter and unique products for crafters in surrounding areas. Money will also be used towards promoting the business as well.

  • Business Plan

In the next 5 years I plan to have multiple stores available for all products and build a team to grow with. My goal is to generate conventions to gather crafter from all over to show case their creativity. Due to being a veteran family I would love to be able to donate proceeds to veterans in need. Investing in me would make a great impact on middle Tennessee. There are crafters all over. Many as a hobby or they are trying to start their own business and good quality glitter and other products such as inks and mica powders and vinyls are not available in the surrounding area. Yes there is Hobby Lobby and Michael's but they do not provide a premium grade glitter section and are not able to make custom made glitter orders or provide a wide or unique selection of inks, micas and vinyls for their customers. I am certain that investing in me would make a crafty community a happy community.

  • Self Identified Competition

My top 3 competitors would be Michael's, Hobby Lobby and Johann's. My competitors provided low grade quality glitter and vinyl. They are very limited on ink options. I would provided premium quality glitter and allow customers to request or even make their own creative glitter mixes. I would provided unique designed vinyl art. I would be able to create and make my own custom inks for the crafting community.
