Funding Usage
Our future goals are to provide sports playing fields that can be indoors to allow year round games and practices. We are unable to financial support this solely with the income coming from the outpatient physical therapy clinic, and would be grateful for grant money to assist with funding this project for my local community. Expenses would include: real estate, property grading, addition of water/sewage/electricity if necessary, building construction, parking and entrance construction, grounds keeper and staff to support the facility, and all other necessary expenses.

Business Plan
I intend to grow my outpatient physical therapy clinic with additional staffing of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. We look to add additional services, such as massage therapy, personal training, sports training, IT department, sports psychology for mental health services, and nutritional services. In hopes of adding an indoor facility, will allow our business to further grow and provide to our local community. As a physical therapist being very sports oriented, I believe there are many things to be gained from sports participation. These aspects are accountability, hard work, active and healthy lifestyles, healthy competition, mental fortitude to tolerate adversity, and teamwork. I encourage all of these aspects with my career and being involved with athletes. The more that I can help our community from a sports aspect, I believe it will create a better future for our younger population. In addition, their athletic ability may help them acquire scholarships to help them and their families from a financial standpoint.

Self Identified Competition
My top 3 competitors are other physical therapy clinics, local recreational department, and sports complex business. The other physical therapy clinics provide similar services to my clinic, however are more geriatric based. The local recreational department provides personal training, but more focused towards weight loss. The sports complex business provides sports training, however is strictly one sport focused (baseball) and reducing their square footage to other businesses being placed within the facility, such as a barbershop My business and myself are more sports oriented due to aspects mentioned above, because I believe there are many beneficial characteristics to be gained from sports participation. I want to be able to give back to my community from the healthiest of standpoints to encourage healthy and active lifestyles, along with mental health support to athletes and assist with their futures from athletic and financial standpoints.
