Capitol Hill Healthcare Consulting LLC | Application Preview
Capitol Hill Healthcare Consulting LLC is seeking government grants to expand its Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Training program, focusing on underserved communities and marginalized populations. The initiative aims to provide personalized training in familiar environments like homes, churches, or community centers, addressing the need for professional care in situations where individuals care for dementia patients without formal training.
The business plans to extend its services into the Southeast and Midatlantic regions, targeting areas with high demand for dementia care support. The founder brings over 22 years of experience in Long Term Care, with credentials as a long-term care Administrator and Certified Dementia Practitioner. This extensive background highlights a commitment to improving care for home-based patients, particularly those who face the emotional and financial challenges of aging in place.
There is limited competition in this space, as few memory care specialists are actively reaching out to these communities for hands-on training. The company's competitive advantage lies in its founder's wealth of experience and a strong desire to bridge healthcare disparities. By securing funding, Capitol Hill Healthcare Consulting aims to enhance the quality of life for dementia patients and their caregivers in marginalized communities.

Funding Usage
My goal is to expand the Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Training to underserved communities and marginalized citizens who may need personalized training service in their homes, local churches or community centers. Most marginalized citizens do not enter long term care facilities for either financial reasons or the stigma associated with the senior care homes. Instead, they are caring for the elderly dementia patients in their homes without any professional training. My goal is to make sure that these patients have the proper cognitive care for the most dignified life possible.

Business Plan
Expand to states in the Southeast and Midatlantic. I have 22 years' experience in Long Term Care and have visited many marginalized home-based patients that suffered traumatic end of life stories due to improper care and misunderstanding of treatment and care protocol. I am credentialed as a long-term care Administrator, Certified Dementia Practitioner and a Certified Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease Trainer. I am passionate about reaching underserved populations that are in dire need of this service.
-
Self Identified Competition
Few if any memory care specialists are visiting the marginalized communities at their point of need to train on the proper care of dementia patients in the home. Year of experience and a passion to decrease the disparity in healthcare.
