Business Plan
Development of new product lines to open different markets, possibly with the larger box stores. We are a local manufacturer of specialty sausages, the only one in the State of Hawaii, and have been around since the inception of the brand back in 1941. Our group Howan Two, took over the business in 2004 and have been instrumental in bringing the brand back to a level that makes Kukui Sausage on one of the top brands. However, with the current pandemic, our restaurant customers as well as institutions have affected our daily business which has reduced our revenue by a little over 50%. We would like to expand our market to the larger box stores as well as possibly add different items to our product line, all of which take time and funding. We have a great brand that people love and we anticipate will do well in other arenas of the retail business.

Self Identified Competition
1. Purity is our top competitor, however Purity is not made locally any more and we wish to market our line as locally produced. 2. Redondo is another top competitor, however this brand was taken over by Purity and it too is not produced in Hawaii. 3. Pacific Sausage is another competitor, although locally produced, they do not have the specialty line that we have. What makes our line of sausages different from our competitors is that neither Purity, Redondo, or Pacific Sausage has a specialty line of sausages, this is where we can dominate the market.
