We will use this funding to obtain a loan, we will then purchase a building and renovate it so we are able to perform our services to the best of our ability. This will also be used for startup costs such as, inventory, equipment, and covering any other costs that may pop up.

In the time leading up to our opening we plan to advertise our restaurant to the city and begin an online presence. After we open we hope to use word of mouth as a large source of growing our business. We believe that over the years we will get the word around that we have a cat restaurant in Sedalia, as there are not any others within a 2 hour radius minimum. Investors should invest in us because we will help the community with the amount of stray cats that will be around. There are also rescue facilities that need help with housing stray cats so they don't have to put them down, and they need help getting them adopted. We will help with this issue by giving them somewhere to live while they are searching for an owner. People will also be more inclined to adopt them because they will be able to spend time with the cats in a safe, open environment before adopting.

Our top competitors are the nearest cat cafés. I am unsure of the names of them, however, the closest ones are at least a 2 hour drive away. Our other main competitors would be the other small bakeries or restaurants in Sedalia. However, since we are such a new idea to the area and a unique business type, we believe that we will have the advantage over these other businesses. We are different from our competitors because we will have cats in our restaurant. We will also be different because of the items on our menu. We will mainly serve baked goods and have all homemade items.
