Blingo LLC 87-4718416 | Government Grant Application

Blingo LLC | Application Preview

Blingo LLC is seeking government funding to enhance its vending machine business. The applicant plans to allocate $50,000 to acquire five additional vending machines and use $30,000 to pay off accumulated debts from a difficult period after losing her job in 2021.

The business is experiencing organic growth fueled by word of mouth, with locations already secured for the new machines. The applicant emphasizes her extensive experience, having worked as the CFO of a family business for 28 years, where she played a key role in significant financial growth. However, following a traumatic incident during the pandemic, she faced termination rather than support for her mental health, leaving her unprepared for unemployment.

Blingo LLC's competitive edge lies in its modern vending machines equipped with advanced technology, allowing for multiple payment methods and real-time inventory tracking, contrasting sharply with competitors still using outdated, cash-only machines. The applicant describes herself as highly intelligent and resilient, having navigated personal challenges, including raising her children as a single parent and caring for her husband during his illness. Given her determination to create new opportunities for her daughters, who are currently tied to the family business, the applicant urges support for her venture.

  • Funding Usage

I will use $50K to buy 5 more machines. And use the other 30 to pay off debt that I accumulated after losing my job in 2021

  • Business Plan

My business is organically growing thru word of mouth. I already have places for the 5 new machines. I'm a 60 year old woman who worked for a family business for 28 years, growing it from 250K per year to 4 million with multiple locations. I was the CFO of this corporation. One family member (one brother) went insane during COVID and I became his victim. After being traumatized by an attack, I wanted to stay home to heal, but the CEO (a different brother) refused to give me time off and instead gave me a termination notice. I had no recourse, EEOC and lawyers called it nepotism and wouldn't touch it. I started the vending machine business with my own money, but I was completely unprepared to be unemployed, and now I need help. Both of my daughters are in "golden handcuffs" in that toxic family business and I want to give them other employment opportunities.

  • Self Identified Competition

My competitors are old and dated vending machines taking cash only. My machines are state of the art technology, on WIFI taking all kinds of payments and I can see "in real time" on my phone what is selling. So I know what to replenish when I go. Older machines do not operate in that way. I'm very smart. I have a high IQ and I'm a self-starting "go-getter". I've survived single parenting after a cheating husband left me. After the children were grown, I remarried and nursed my husband thru a cancer death. Now I've lost my extended family, but I have never given up.
