Ehrie Const | Application Preview
Ehrie Construction is seeking government grants to purchase necessary machinery and bolster working capital in response to challenges posed by a dwindling labor pool and an unstable economy. The business argues that residential construction is facing ongoing difficulties due to inflation and a lack of reliable workers. With some financial support, Ehrie aims to sustain operations and continue providing essential services to the community.
The application emphasizes the importance of supporting small, family-owned businesses, which are seen as more beneficial for local economies than larger corporations that may not prioritize community welfare. By investing in small businesses, the funds can help maintain jobs and encourage local economic activity.
Ehrie faces competition from Amish builders who can work more flexibly and larger construction companies that sometimes take on smaller projects as a form of charity. However, the business highlights its dedication to honest and hard-working values as its competitive advantage. Overall, the grant funding is positioned as a way to empower a small business that prioritizes its community over corporate interests.

Business Plan
Residential construction will continue to suffer due to inflation combined with a weak labor force. With a little help of some working capital I can continue my services to the public and remain in business. Putting money into the hands of a blue collar, small family business, that supports its immediate public seems more logical than investing in big business that ultimately fold, while padding the board members pockets as the worker is stuck to find the nearest unemployment line. Small business needs very little working capital to stay afloat while boosting local business.

Self Identified Competition
1. Amish - receive takes breaks which helps them to outbid Caucasians. 2. Big construction business that can do smaller jobs as a charity to hide their money. HONEST HARD WORKING AMERICANS
