Evergreen Lawns LLC 93-1453633 | Government Grant Application

Evergreen Lawns LLC | Application Preview

Evergreen Lawns LLC is applying for government grants to enhance its pest control services in Hobbs, New Mexico, and nearby areas. The funding will be used to acquire two high-capacity gas skid truck mounts, a utility vehicle with a boom spray, and potentially another commercial vehicle to support an expanding workforce. This investment aims to improve efficiency by reducing job times by a third, enabling the company to take on larger contracts and hire additional employees.

The business plans to focus on building its customer base in the next few months, equipping its vehicles with high-quality equipment, and ultimately hiring another applicator. With established connections in Hobbs and surrounding towns like Lovington, Jal, and more, Evergreen Lawns aims to fill a service gap in smaller cities and meet increasing demand in Hobbs, where existing pest control companies are struggling to keep pace. Future ambitions include establishing a permanent presence in Hobbs, expanding the vehicle fleet, and possibly opening branches in Carlsbad and Lubbock.

Evergreen Lawns intends to diversify its services by adding fumigation, termite inspections, rodent treatments, sanitation for both residential and commercial spaces, and weed control for oilfield locations. The grant application emphasizes that Hobbs is experiencing an oil boom, which is expected to increase its population and demand for pest control services significantly.

Competition in the area includes established companies, but Evergreen Lawns is positioned uniquely. While competitors like Taylors Weed and Pest Control are often overbooked, Evergreen has quickly built a larger social media presence, reaching over 50,000 local people in just three months and gaining more followers than its competitors. Additionally, Evergreen has established important community ties, which enhance its local marketing efforts. The business's mobile detailing arm also provides a financial buffer that competitors may lack, further strengthening its market position.

  • Business Plan

The next few months I'd continuing building my customer base, outfit vehicles with quality and safe equipment that cuts job times down and then fund another commercial vehicle and hire on another applicator, at that point I would continue developing relationships in the community and advertise, secure customers in the other local cities. We service Hobbs and now have established customer bases in lovington nm, jal, Seminole, brownfield, seagraves, Eunice and Kermit. I want to expand into these smaller cities with no services which is most of them and even in hobbs the companies cannot keep up with the demand. Eventually I'd want to establish real estate in hobbs, build a fleet of pest control commericial vehicles and continue hiring on. If all continues well I'd establish a branch in Carlsbad and possibly Lubbock. Services wise i plan to add on fumigation, termite inspections and treatment, rodent treatment, and possibly sanitation treatment of residential and commercial areas and weed control out at oilfield locations. Hobbs New Mexico is currently in an oil boom and projected to bring in 25k more workers to the town. City limits shows population currently at 40k but actually a better estimate would be 60k. The pest control companies here cannot keep up and there is huge demand without the proper supply. On top of that the pest control companies do not service the oilfield company shops and yards and I have established relationships with them. We've also been able to push past hobbs and establish relationships with customers in multiple small towns and other cities.

  • Self Identified Competition

Taylors weed and pest control - currently either overbooked or unable to find applicators, they've been in business for years. I have already established a larger social media presence in 3 months then they have. They have a following of roughly 120 followers and I have established 166 followers with my own funded advertisement campaign reaching 50,603 people our area, 4169 engagements, 166 net followers in 90 days. Orkin - orkin I believe drives all the way from another area and has no ties to the community, customers complain of techs not showing up for jobs and half finished jobs being performed. I also don't believe orkin does weed control on a large scale. I have already established a larger social media presence in 3 months then they have. They have a following of roughly 120 followers and I have established 166 followers with my own funded advertisement campaign reaching 50,603 people our area, 4169 engagements, 166 net followers in 90 days only from Facebook. I also have ties to hobbs seminole and Denver city businesses which allow me to advertise my business card at their store, the other member of the company has ties to seminole and Lubbock and has the full customer base of his families old car detailing services. Unlike the other companies we can sustain higher revenue due to the mobile detail part of the business that uses the dba LCR Mobile Detail. The third partner is known in seagraves, is experienced in detailing and has also able to secure easy advertisement. We are rooted in the west texas, east new mexico area and have been all our lives. I also have established relationships with farmers and have good ties to the college in hobbs, hobbs hospital and seminole hospital.
