Paper Crane Tattoo Company | Application Preview
Paper Crane Tattoo Company is seeking government grants to acquire a new vehicle after the owner’s current vehicle has broken down beyond repair. The inability to replace the vehicle has led to financial strain and reliance on others for transportation, impacting the owner's ability to manage credit card debt.
The business plan focuses on leveraging social media to expand within the Central Texas area. A reliable vehicle is crucial to facilitate operations and enhance the reach of the tattoo studio, thereby aiding in future growth.
The owner emphasizes a strong work ethic and artistic dedication, identifying as an independent Korean American woman who opened a business at age 26. Beyond tattooing, she is also an accomplished painter and sculptor. She is committed to spreading positivity through art and supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse. The vision includes developing a community space for art creation and appreciation.
In terms of competition, the owner sees other establishments as sources of inspiration rather than rivals, highlighting local tattoo shops that motivate her to improve. The competitive edge lies in her commitment to community support and sustainable practices, aiming to establish a legacy that ensures accessible resources like clean food and art culture for future generations.

Funding Usage
I need to buy a vehicle immediately because mine has broken down and engine cannot be repaired. My insurance did not cover the cost of a new vehicle and I have been left stranded at the mercy of other people and spending money I don’t have on transportation. This has caused me to fall behind on my credit card debt

Business Plan
With the industry changing daily and social media ads getting the news of my shop to everyone in the central texas area, I will be on the right track to expansion once I buy a dependable vehicle I work harder than anyone I know. I believe in art and I believe in the power to spread positivity through creation and nurturing. Everyone underestimates me because I am a tattoo artist, but that’s not all my career is. I am an independent Korean American woman that opened a business in 2022 before the age of 27 and since become an accomplished painter and sculptor. I want my art to be shared. I am versed in over 100 mediums and still expanding. I am very studious and I learn often and well by studying and creating every single day with no days off. Daily, I put my tools to the test. My clients speak of me highly and they are very loyal to what I’m trying to accomplish within my lifetime. I have people that believe in my work and I can’t let them down. I am a survivor of domestic abuse and trauma, and I use my experiences to strengthen the women around me and provide a safe and private area of support for these women dealing with the hardships of abuse. Tattooing just pays my way to becoming the biggest greenhouse, artists creation station and art gallery Texas has ever seen.

Self Identified Competition
I prefer to refer to them as business inspiration rather than competitors. Everyone can and has the right to eat and provide for their families. With that being said, my top 3 establishments are Great outdoors in AUSTIN TEXAS Great wave tattoo in AUSTIN TEXAS Diamond Tattoo Parlor in Hurst Texas I have accomplished more at 26 than anyone ever imagined, including myself. These businesses lit a flame within me and my willingness to improve, expand and grow my business is work towards daily. I have no off days. I support the people around me that helped me when they themselves were struggling. I returned the favor ten times fold and still work towards my dream of having food accessible by the community I live in. Sustainable creating and cropping is the way I want to expand my business and keep it running until after my time here is over. I am working to develop something that will be kept going by the next person that feels the same passion as I do, in that, everyone deserves clean water, clean food, fresh atmosphere, sober living, to experience art culture and the ability to wear art for life while feeling the money spent went to a great and wonderful cause.
