Funding Usage
With the additional funds I’ll be able to cover the initial cost to expand. We have many inquiries but not enough hands to do the work. We would be able to hire more employees, provide much needed tools to the team and also start looking into providing health insurance and 401k coverage. We could also use funds to build a central location to keep tools for the entire team to use. The funds would not only change our lives but will create job security for those whom we bring on to the team offering a competitive compensation package to keep team members on board.

We started the process of obtaining licenses. Before the end of the summer we will have a CSL (Construction supervisor license). This will enable us to take on bigger jobs. We also plan to offer education to our team members. OSHA certification and also Asbestos verification. Being fully licensed and insured will allow us become a leader in the services provided in our area allowing us to grow our business and team. We are a young family with the best of both worlds. I manage all the back end. I have a business degree (bachelors) and pationate about managing our own company and leaving a legacy for our children. My business partner is my husband who loves working with his hands and is proud of the quality of work we provide to our community. We will not only improve our lives but the lives of our employees, and our community by offering quality services at competitive pricing.

Our area doesn’t have many contractors or handymen which has had us consistently booked 6-10 weeks out. The few handymen in our area are not insured like we are or licensed like we are looking to get. A grant for us to continue our education and cover initial cost of having new employees and the right tools will make us the leading provider in our area. We offer quality services which is hard to find. We use automated systems for estimates and invoicing. Additionally, we support all payments types opening a wide range of clientele. We have a 24 hour turn around in estimate requests. Our pricing is competitive while not sacrificing quality.
