Do the Bang Thing LLC | Application Preview

Do the Bang Thing LLC is applying for government grants to address debt and make improvements to their salon. After successfully purchasing their building, they aim to enhance their team by recruiting both experienced stylists and recent beauty school graduates. They hope to create a supportive environment that fosters leadership and expands their services.

The salon is seeking assistance to recover from the financial setbacks caused by COVID-19, as they were unable to apply for the Paycheck Protection Program during their real estate purchase process. The business is committed to giving back and enhancing its community impact.

Competitively, the salon differentiates itself through core values of professionalism, spirituality, gratitude, growth, and playfulness. These principles define their work culture and contribute to a positive environment, which helps in attracting and retaining talent. • Funding Usage

To pay off debt and make some improvements to the salon. We were in the process of buying our building when the second round of PPP came out and could not apply for it while in that process. We definitely lost out on that and wish to get something in order to help still catching up from covid and the hardships of hiring. We would also like to bring in a big ticket educator not just for our team but to generate some leads for new hair stylist.

  • Business Plan

We were able to purchase the building we are operating out. So now the focus is on growing our team. We want to be able to not only bring in veteran hair stylists but recruit stylist fresh out of beauty school and train them. With a bigger team we can offer more benefits and hope to not only keep stylist but promote them as leaders as well. We also would like to use our space to host industry specific events, class, and offerings. Do the Bang Thing Salon has survived it all. We just are asking for a little more help. We started as a home studio with zero clientele that expanded multiple times, survived the divorce of the owner, Covid-19, and the purchase of a building. We pre covid donated more than 15,000.00 to a non profit that gave to Girls Inc. of Metro Denver. We have continually donated to Veteran's non profits, close to our hearts, over the years as well. We want to be able to give back more and grow a company that cares about our community.
