Funding Usage
Looking to open up a warehouse location where the members can continuously receive their lessons and practice time regardless of the weather. In addition, LionHeart is looking to create a scholarship program to offer our services to families that may not be able to financially afford the services offered. Warehouse locations in the area are running at approximately $25/sq ft. We would have to purchase additional equipment to be able to provide ample opportunity for all of the members to utilize the time effectively. Regarding the scholarship program, it costs $200/month for the membership which includes daily 2 hour practice (Monday to Friday).

Business Plan
We are starting by identifying our target market. I have been a youth baseball coach for over 10 years and have found that there is a very high demand for the kids of the neighboring communities in South Florida/Homestead areas to play various sports. There are limited opportunities in this area and by opening up a full youth sports warehouse in the community, we will be able to provide what the market is looking for. In addition, by providing scholarships, we will be able to attract a wider variety of customers. We plan on expanding the types of sports that we will be coaching and teaching the children to be able to accommodate and appeal to a wider customer base. We are not only looking to teach kids different sports and provide them with the health benefits that exercise offers, but our main goal is to help kids make it to the next level. Our motto is, "Scholarship is the goal". We are looking to provide children and families the opportunity to get help to get the college education that is so important for their future. We want to improve the lives of these families and of the community.

Self Identified Competition
Our direct competitors include the neighboring parks that provide different sports leagues. These include Franjo Park, JD Redd Park, Hammocks Park, etc. These parks provide leagues that include various sports teams of various age ranges that will practice and play games against other teams and/or leagues. LionHeart is different from our competitors because we provide a wide range of sports. We not only teach the children the sport that they are interested in but we also provide them with personal training.
