Remarkable Breakthrough, Inc. is seeking government grants to support its mission of providing low-income housing and essential resources to veterans. The organization projects a revenue of $1,532,200 in 2025 by fully operating a proposed 20-22 unit apartment building valued at around $7.2 million. The organization offers robust support programs starting with an intake and evaluation assessment for veterans seeking assistance. Key components include permanent housing, healthcare access, life skills training, job skills programs, financial literacy, and rehabilitation programs specifically for those with mental health or substance abuse issues. Regular follow-ups are planned to ensure continuous support and progress tracking.
Remarkable Breakthrough differentiates itself by fostering a community centered on veterans' needs and providing tailored educational resources that empower them to reintegrate successfully into society. It will collaborate with non-profit partners to enhance its offerings, addressing a wide range of veteran challenges, from housing to healthcare. Funding Usage
The Revenue Forecast indicates that Remarkable Breakthrough, Inc. expects to generate $1,532,200 in 2025 if we are operating at full capacity. The stable core funding is from Federal/State Grants, Crowdfunding, and Fundraising Events. Funding will drop by about 20% in 2026 due to the lack of Crowdfunding but will steadily increase by approximately 5% in upcoming years. Although Crowdfunding will be complete in year one, other fundraising efforts will not be a one-time event. In order to gain and maintain operational sufficiency, it is critical that the organization raises funds throughout the year. Remarkable Breakthrough, Inc. will focus on increasing funds by 10% from each stream of revenue except renting fees. Initial funds will be spent in preparation for startup costs which include the down payment for the apartment building.

Business Plan
The following sections outline important financial information. The forecasts are based on securing a 20 - 22 unit apartment building for approximately $7.2 million. The building will have approximately fifteen one-bedroom units for $2,500 and five two-bedroom units for $3,000. Each tenet will receive internet, water, sewage, and trash but will be required to pay their own electricity and gas. In order to maintain steady growth, the occupancy rate will stay between 93% to 100% year-round. These financials suggest that if Remarkable Breakthrough, Inc. hits and surpasses its yearly goals it will be in a great position to expand within four years. Single Veterans and families earning 30% to 60% of the area median income will have the option to choose from a one or two- bedroom unit. The facility will be located next to the newly constructed VA Clinic which makes this a great area for Veterans who need help. In addition, the HUD-VASH Program will be accessible for Veterans who need rental assistance. Oakland Operation Dignity Inc. is a well-established non-profit 501 (c)(3) operating in Oakland, Alameda, and Berkely. Currently, they own and operate a total of 15 shelter beds and 91 transitional housing beds between their three sites. The organization offers transitional and permanent housing to homeless Veterans as well as other families who have experienced homelessness. In 2020, they received the Homekey grant from the State of California’s Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) then partnered with the City of Oakland and housing developer Danco to purchase and re-construct a 21-unit hotel into housing. They also use HUD-VASH and Shelter + Care to help Veterans with rental assistance. In addition, the organization has a mobile outreach team that provides basic needs (bagged lunch, rain gear, hygiene kits) for homeless individuals within encampments, parks, underpasses, etc. Remarkable Breakthrough will be a community that strives to help Veterans get the assistance they truly need to become productive in society. Veterans will be surrounded by supportive individuals who will encourage and guide them through our program. Our main priority is to offer low-income housing and understand the needs of each Veteran so we can provide the proper help. Educational programs focus on subjects (Job Skills, Life Skills, Financial Literacy) that will allow Veterans to succeed in society. Connecting with other non- profits will allow our organization to help in areas such as mental health, substance abuse, and job placement.
