This grant money will help us build out dressing rooms within our building, replace the flooring within the main level of our building and towards inventory to help build our store. Our vision for our boutique is to also give back to our community by providing programs/events like: School supply drive, winter coat drive, food drive, and donations to our local Grace Place Shelter. This would allow for us to successfully put on events that support our community.

Become extremely involved in our community and using my boutique for a driving force of that. I will be the face of the boutique and will put a smile on your face when you enter my store, and when you leave, you will feel joy, peace and a feeling of acceptance and belonging. Our business will have an online presence, which is where we will grow our followers and interact with our customers to drive customers into our store. Our store will host monthly events that include giving back to our community. We will collaborate with businesses in the community for events, and to connect with all different demographic groups. Our customers will feel take pride in supporting The Pearl Boutique because we are involved in our community and we give back to those in need right here in our back yard. We are put on this earth to help and give back and be kind while we are doing it. Because my sister and I care about others and our community. We put our community first, we want to help grow our community and the people within it by making them feel confident, joy, happy and a place of belonging when they are in our store. We will give back to our community with events and also monetary donations to organizations in need. When you shop in our store, you not only leave with a great product, but you also gave back. We will change one person at a time with our boutique. Pearls are used in the Bible to symbolize God’s love and grace, value, prosperity, beauty, and salvation. They are pure, beautiful, and rare, just like God's love for his children. Pearls can also represent our own purity and beauty before him. As you can see, our boutique will be a place that when you enter, you know you can trust us because we put the Lord above all things.

Self Identified Competition
Maurices, Walmart, Goodwill. When you walk through the doors of these other stores, there is no real connection that you can make with who is working. We will offer higher end clothing. We will help style you when you walk through the door. We plan to have a coffee bar in the back where it's serve yourself.....the atmosphere will be warm and inviting. A great place to come to shop and join in great conversation where you can leave feeling like you belong to something. We all just want to feel accepted and included. We will love and support all who walk through our doors. :-)
