MIX GOODS LLC | Application Preview
MIX GOODS LLC is seeking government funding to address accumulated credit card debt from inventory and equipment purchases, cover employee salaries, and support expansion efforts for their commercial property.
The business plans to use a construction loan for expansion over the next five years, targeting the development of rental spaces, takeout restaurants, a small grocery store, and possibly residential apartments on their 1.3-acre property.
The founder shares a personal story, emphasizing the financial struggles faced since arriving in America as a child. This passion drives the business, which has been operating since August 2017 but is struggling with profitability due to debt and expenses. The founder is committed to adapting the business in response to community needs and believes in the potential for success with the right support.
In terms of competition, MIX GOODS LLC sells a mix of new and preowned collectible toys, facing challenges from larger retailers like Walmart, Five Below, and Ross Dress for Less, which offer lower prices through economies of scale. However, the business differentiates itself by focusing on higher quality, collectible items that appeal to a niche market of collectors.
Ultimately, the owner is hopeful that with adequate funding, they can turn their dreams into reality and continue to serve their community effectively.

Business Plan
In the next 5 fives I hope to expand my business through a constructional loan to build on my 1.3 acre commercial property. This new expansion will include spaces for rental, take out restaurants, a small grocery store, and possibly residential apartments. To fulfill a little girls dream. I was about 6 years old when we arrived in America. Life in America was hard, my family struggled financially and now I’m struggling financially with my own little family. When you have a dream, but this dream seemed to be out of reach because of; lack of fundings, your dream stall. I’ve been operating my business since August 2017, with expenses and accumulated credit card debt and employees to pay I’m unable to save to achieve my goal. I’m a motivator, a dreamer, a believer, and a striver that possibilities are there and one day I’ll be where I need to be. My net profit isn’t as expected, but the annual gross is there for my current business. Sometimes we just need that extra helping hand to help lead us the way. I’m the kind of person who will always find a way to adjust my business plans accordingly to my communities needs. I want to thank you for your time. Please consider investing in me you will not regret it! Thanks!

Self Identified Competition
My current business selling a mixed of merchandise ranging from new and preowned, mostly focusing or specialized in collectible toys. My top competitors are Walmart, Five Below, and Ross Dress for Less. Walmart an anchor store that can provide customers with cheaper because of the hundreds of store across America. They are able to wholesale products at a cheaper rate to sell for their customers which local businesses are unable to do. Five Below is now expanding and providing merchandise goods mostly $5 or below to their customers which can hurt businesses like mine. Ross Dress for Less also does liquidation pallets which allows them to carry some toys at a discounted price that sometimes hurt our business. My business is different because I provide preowned collectible goods/ toys for collectors. Our business still sets apart from our competitors because we provide a larger range of different products of what they provide. We also have higher end products or collector items that can bring us more money. The quality of Five Below products is not as good as ours due to the fact that their company does make products worth the $5. We search to understand our communities and strive to accommodate to their needs.
