  • Funding Usage

I will ensure all debt is removed and money is put towards seeds for crops production, wind tunnels, fencing, animal inventory, and conservation efforts. This will allow for safer operations around the farm and ensure we are getting the high quality options our country needs for a healthy and sustainable future.

  • Business Plan

I plan to be completely self sufficient and providing food not just for our community but also be in accordance with the USDA to ensure we can ship across state lines. We will be providing food for all that will be the same price if not less than our local supermarkets and still provide the highest quality food. We plan to also ensure that for the animals with poor behavior and training such as horses and cows, to ensure they can be united with either their owners or new owners for continued success and support of the agriculture lifestyle. As someone who has worked closely with animals for years and have calmed and corrected multiple species this will be a great move for the people in our area. As a veteran, I served as a United States Navy Chief, I not only have the managerial experience needed to ensure things are done properly, but I also have the patient to teach others on the "proper" way to do things as waste is not an option. I have noticed that most farmers around here are only doing single crops or one item. Listening, which is what Chief's have to do, to the people around you, will show that people love farm fresh items but don't like traveling around to 20 different places to get their items. As a farm that would provide, milk, cheese, yogurt, beef, chicken, eggs and produce, our farm would be the only one in the area for 50 miles which ensures we are the closest and most personal farm in the area.

  • Self Identified Competition

One competitor is Midori farms. They currently produce organic food along with sauerkraut and kimchi prepped the original way without vinegar. The food is popular during the spring and summer months. Dharma Ridge farms also produces only organic produce. They sell specific crops at certain times. They too are popular during spring and summer months only. The final one is Lonely Pine farms. They specialize in flowers and garlic. The garlic is a competition however since they only produce a small amount it will allow for variety from another local provider. Our current top 3 competitors are also competitors with each other. The only items they produce are crops. There isn't a local milk/meat farm and where local. These 3 other farms are also producing flowers and sell more in the spring and summer time instead of year round. As stated before that we would be purchasing wind tunnels to ensure almost year round production of the highest quality produce. With a wind tunnel it also allows for our soil in the area to recover from the year's use with our own farm animals, (cows, goats, chickens, turkeys) to go through each phase as necessary to keep it organic and natural. We will be using our house as a cottage kitchen to allow us to provide some cooked items as well. Due to the vast amount of different products we offer we are also going to be teaching others how to achieve self sufficiency with classes in processing their own animals, growing crops, and raising animals. This makes us completely different from the others as we are not just a one type of product for our customers.
