I plan to invest in my brand by expanding on my salon, products and apparel. I would like to open more locations one this one is solid. I would love to invest in a commercial property that has other store fronts and rental units.

  • Business Plan

I plan to expand on my brand Kool Girl Section, continue to further my education to provide clients with best service by staying in the now with latest trends that work, also provide more employment for those that are in the beauty industry. I also would like to continue to expand with my annual hair shows which allows a platform for local stylist such as my self to show off our talents to our communities and network with the mind set of promoting our brands. I would like to purchase commercial property with a few store fronts and rental units. I would place my salon in one of the store fronts. This would create a cash flow generator. I should be funded this amount to be allowed the opportunity to continue building my small business in my community which provides employment for myself and other stylist. I would like to have the ability to continue developing my business and brand by purchasing my own building to place my salon in there, rent out the other store front and apartment spaces. I will also like to expand by opening up other salons across the country. I will also continue with education to become a cosmetologist instructor to eventually open my own institute for education in hair.

  • Self Identified Competition

I am unaware of my competitors because I focus on building my brand and inviting other stylists and barbers to participate in my hair shows to network and build a group to support one another’s development and embrace our different talents. I have been in this business for over 20 years and I involve myself in the community by doing annual hair shows which bring the community together with local business. This gives everyone the opportunity to mingle and become aware of the work each are capable of doing. This also helps with encouraging development and the ability to display our creativity to new clients as well as keep the ones we already have.
