MVP Barbershop 84-4765507 | Government Grant Application

MVP Barbershop | Application Preview

MVP Barbershop is seeking government funding to enhance its marketing efforts, specifically through signage, flyers, mailers, and participation in local markets and events. The business aims to attract new and potential customers while establishing a strong community presence.

The barbershop focuses on community engagement and operates on a foundation of respect, prioritizing quality grooming services. With an established client base, the goal is to serve 15 clients daily at prices ranging from $30 to $35 per haircut, aiming for a monthly revenue of $3,000. This income would cover overhead costs and help pay off a potential business loan. The owner also plans to train additional barbers to maintain the business model and eventually expand to multiple locations.

The application highlights several strengths, including the owner’s 11 years of experience, creativity in barbering, and knowledge of current trends, alongside the opportunity presented by the limited competition in the area. Leveraging word-of-mouth marketing through established networks is also a key strategy.

MVP Barbershop’s competitive advantage lies in its ability to cater to all ethnicities and cultures, offering specialized grooming services, including fades and shaves, along with additional treatments like hot towels and facials. The business is committed to giving back to the community through initiatives such as back-to-school drives and providing free haircuts during holidays. Approval of the grant would support the shop's growth and its contributions to the local community.
