Compassion Care | Application Preview
Compassion Care is seeking government grants to address urgent building maintenance and payroll needs. The organization plans to expand by opening an additional six-bed facility and enhancing daily activity schedules for residents, aiming to increase monthly revenue.
The application highlights Compassion Care's outstanding reputation for serving the elderly, particularly veterans, emphasizing their commitment to high-quality food, personalized one-on-one care, engaging activities, and cleanliness. They cater to a wide spectrum of care needs, from minimal assistance to complex cases like aggressive dementia and hospice care. The staff takes the time to ensure residents feel safe and loved, often investing weeks or months to help residents adjust and thrive after transfers from other facilities.
Despite facing a number of small board and care facilities nearby, Compassion Care rarely has vacancies due to its well-regarded standing in the community. They view these other facilities as less competitive, citing the lower quality of care provided. Their competitive edge stems from their exceptional care quality, a beautiful living environment, nutritious meals, and a strong emphasis on personalized care tailored to family needs.

Business Plan
We are looking at expanding by opening another 6 bed facility and providing a more elaborate daily activity schedule for our residents so we can raise monthly income. We have a imaculate reputation in caring for our elderly especially our veterans. We spare no expense when it comes to, food quality, one on one care, activities and cleanliness. We take all levels of care from minimal assistance to aggressive dementia behavior and hospice. We take our time to help those residents come to a comfortable stage where they feel safe and loved. This sometimes takes weeks or months but we always prevail, even when they have been moved from facility to facility. Once in our care we fight for them and learn what their needs are and they are addressed right away. It’s all about our residents and making them feel like home.

Self Identified Competition
There are lots of small board and cares around us but we don’t ever have a vacancy for more than a week because of the reputation we have. We don’t consider them competitions because they don’t provide the level of care we do. The quality of care, the beautiful facility, quality of food, and flexibility in working with families to provide very personalized care.
